Chapter Eight

That next moring I woke up in my room. I had no idea how I got there, bu I jumped out of bed and rushed to my friend, Brandys room, shaking her, begging her to wake up.

"What is it?" She said fighting me off.

"Please tell me, all that wasnt as dream." I said on edge.

She jumped up and looked around, "No it wasnt."

Brandy jumped up and ran into the living room.

I followed her and we found Kayla on our couch.

"How did you get here?" Brandy asked her.

Kayla shook her head, "I have no idea. The last thing I remember was pour the shot Cyndy gave that girl, then I woke up here."

"So all that did happen." I said taking it in.

Brandy nodded her head and sat back in the chair, "it did."

Out of no where, their was a knock on the door. The three of us have each other weird looks, then I got up to answer it.

When I opened it, it was that Syn guy we had met.

As I started to say something, he spoke first.

"You three are invited." He said handing me a card with all our names on it.

Kayla and Brandy walked up behind me.

"Invited to what?" I asked him.

He looked behind him at a black limbo then back at us, "a crowning."

"For who and what?" Brandy asked aggravated, "and why us?"

Syn shook his head, "Shadows. And I don't know why you all, but I was doing what I was told. Adios."

I felt funny. Angry and confused.

"What he fuck?" Brandy said standing in the door way as Syn walked to the limbo.

I shook my head and watched as he opened the door. He got in and shut the door.

Just before the car drove off, Shadows rolled the window down and Johnny had gotten on the sun roof.

Shadows smirked his grill off at me as Johnny yelled and they drove off.

"What on fucking earth." Brandy said shaking her head as we went back in the house.

"What exactly is a crowning?" Kayla asked.

Brandy shrugged her shoulders.

I thought for a minute, "Syn mad a joke or well laughed at Shadows last night and said, Shepherd of Fire. I don't know what that means, but it could have something to do with it all."

"Who the fuck knows." Brandy said storming off into the kitchen.

Kayla looked at me funny, "is she always like this?"

I shook my head, "no but I think it might be something to do with that Zacky guy."

"I understand, that Johnny has me wondering a lot of things." Kayla told me.

I didn't say anything just slowly started getting lost in my thought.

"What about you? That Syn guy seams like he might have a thing for you." Kayla laughed.

I shook my head no and kept quiet.

"Well any of them?" She asked more serious, "that shadows guy seams like a loner."

I just shook my head again.

"Hey, are we actually going to this this it what?" Brandy asked coming out if the kitchen.

I sighed, "yea let's go get ready."

Kayla and Brandy exchanged looks as the followed me to get ready.
