Quick question since somebody pointed out a valid point. Which eye color do you like on Law the most? In the manga they are yellow/gold. In the anime they are grey. I'm pretty sure most of you have noticed I clearly prefer yellow.

Ghostly yellow orbs opened up to an expanse of steel. It were unusually hot within the room, the beads of sweat rolling down Trafalgar Law's forehead to collect within his hair or the fabric of a pristine white pillow. With the sweat, the poor ventilation chilled his skin to a shiver. These conditions most accurately represented a flu to overcome his body. Even with those thoughts on the mind, it made Law's train of thought go for another location. "I... I made it," Law grumbled through the soft rubbery plastic casing of his breathing mask that aided his lungs in what was once a dire time of need. A heavily but more tightly bandaged shoulder delayed most if not all his movements.

At first Law calculated that his survival from borderline shock of too little blood to circulate his blood streams was a near fail to recover from, yet he were lying in his own bed with an IV in his arm, and another tube pumping blood back into his body. But who's blood was this? Law couldn't help but to ask. He were running low on pints of blood, forgetting to replace them. Being he used most of them on you or his own crew when Law agreed to be your doctor months back and the lab workers refused to grant the blood the Surgeon needed. In order to replenish the blood Law lost after your attack as well as when he searched the facility without covering up said wound, he'd need more than three pints.

"I need my answers..." Law huffed, sitting up on the bed carefully. With one asleep hand, he untangled the elastic keeping his breathing mask in place around his head to sit at his lap. Even after sleeping for what Law had assumed to be days maybe even a week in time, his eyelids still felt unbearably heavy. Then there was his raven hair that felt as if each strand were standing on end and that unbearable yawn to rip at his throat. Recovery was the time Law disliked the most.

Before finally attempting to leave the warm territory of his bed, Law stopped to the barrier blocking his feet from even touching the floor. Law cocked his brow, eyesight focussing to find a truly shocking sight. You were peacefully sleeping on a cot beside his bed, all snuggled up within the blankets, hugging the pillow tightly to your chest with such a young stressless face to accompany you by. Law has never seen a woman so at peace.

"The girl must've saved me. She can't even walk," Law points out in shock to himself under the breath.

"Law..." You stirred uttering his name, flipping yourself over to face the other way.

"You awake?" Law grew curious. This was the first time he'd ever hear you sleep talk. Let alone, you spoke his name which made wonders to the Surgeon's brain.

"Half..." Your features scrunched up as you stretched out within the cot much like a cat.

"Sensitive sleeper eh?" Law smirked.

"I'm so happy you're finally awake," you smiled softly, still hugging that pillow of yours. "I was beginning to think you turned vegetable on me."

"It'll take more than some lost blood to take me out," Law joked around, you were dozing off as you both spoke one after the other. Turns out, Law was wide awake, blessed even to have you there with him. Even then, Law had no clue as to why he were so happy to see you. Was it because a frail woman like yourself saved him? Or maybe... No.... Can't be. Law never wanted anything to do with you, yet he felt chained, linked to you as he saw that thin red thread wrap around your wrist all jumbled about your fingers as the thread gradually straightened out to wrap around his own hand. Just one loop around his wrist connected with your own. Not twenty threads like yours but just one. If Law were seeing this, then it just opened his eyes to more than he ever could imagine. Talk about flipping his entire world upside down.

Law flicked his wrist, that red thread remained. One more glance at you, his heart thumped heavily against his chest like a mallet on a tympany's face. How could you not hear that? Law couldn't help but ask himself. Before he leaned down from the bed, using one hand to lightly shake your shoulder. Those lost eyes of yours blinked back to consciousness. "Want to sleep with me? I can't stand that cot you're on."

"You're really inviting me?" You perked up, yawning.

"Why not? There's room," Law avoided the real truth. He couldn't find any logic to understand these feelings that's attacking his heart. Law could've sworn he burried these feelings of affection so long ago in a deep hole to never be seen again. Yet, here they lie unearthed.

So you didn't let Law's offer go to waste, you pulled the covers from the cot, sat up, and used the frame of Law's bed for support just to stand. Those legs of yours were so thin, you still hadnt the strength to hold yourself up yet. So Law grabbed either sides of your waist, pulling you atop the bed. Your eyes were so large, now that was one move you never thought would happen. There was this faint blush to dust your cheeks, the lighting so dark, you were thankful Law couldn't pick up on the move.
