Akainu had left you and Law alone within the lab, it wasn't a smart idea in the slightest and I'm sure you could understand why given the recent events that just happened. Akainu came in, kicked some ass, forced you to eat a devil fruit, then left. Was there even a reason behind forcing you to eat a devil fruit? Law knew exactly why and you hadn't a clue. He knew that you were the Ultimate Soldier in the makings and that a devil fruit is just one step, one step closer into molding you into that soldier as planned. Which only meant Law was one step closer to losing everything he worked so long and hard for. His Warlord Title, that die hard vengeance he had against Doflamingo, and you.

Moments had passed, Law were still holding onto his sore throat, finding it extremely difficult to breathe. The burns on his chest didn't bother the Surgeon in the slightest as most would be astonished by. His nearly crushed wind pipes mattered more. Despite his condition, Law stared at you with those golden eyes that could illuminate a night sky as he watched your frail body shiver and shake violently like a victim to frostbite. The clear tears that streamed down your face made his heart ache.

The effects of your devil fruit were surely taking its toll on you in the worse ways imaginable.

"God Damn," Law cursed under his breath. "You need to suck it up (Y/n). All Devil Fruits taste horrible..."

"I..." Your voice quivered. "I don't understand what's hap-hap-happening to me," based on your terrified response, Law's carelessness melted away and he couldn't help but rush to your side. He pressed his cold inked hand to your backside. Your breaths ravaged your insides, scratching at your spine as Law could most definitely feel. Then the muscles tightening left and right.

"What the hell is going on?" Law asked himself. Your body shouldn't be reacting to the fruit like this unless you've consumed another devil fruit in the past. As if he knew, this was only rumors of the past Law brought to his attention."(Y/n) have you already consumed a devil fruit before today?" Law quickly asked the second the question pierced his mind like a knife to his chest.

"N-N-No... Why?" You whimpered unable to open your eyes through the pain.

Law was surprised beyond belief to your response. He ran his inked fingers through his raven hair, tugging at the ends. Nothing made sense. "Most of the time, If you consume more than one devil fruit, you die. That's why," Law claimed, now gritting his teeth and pinching the bridge of his nose. How do I help her? Can I help her? If only there were a reason behind this-

Law was cut off from his own thoughts to the rushed opening of the lab door banging against the wall. Scientists flooded into the room one after another, each one looking the same like a clone from a machine. Each one surrounded the both of you. "Grab her!" One scientist demanded, he held a clipboard in his arms. Two other scientists picked you up by the arms roughly. "We got to get her transported to the other lab before the effects of the serum wear off!"

"W-what!?" Law growled, snatching the Head Scientist by the collar of his pristine white lab coat. "What exactly does that serum do?" The Surgeon hissed with gritted teeth.

"It negates all devil fruit abilities!" the scientist gulped the lump in his throat out of fear. "B-but for non-devil fruit users, it acts like a calming medication or a knock-out drug," the scientist tags on hoping to not get a fist to the face. Law huffed with anger, throwing the man off to the side with irritation.

"I was half correct about the serum," Law muttered then faced the head scientist again. "Where are you taking (Y/n)? I want answers..."

"To another lab within the building. We were told to start training the subject how to control her devil fruit abilities," The head scientist replied much calmer this time around rather than his cowardly replies just seconds ago.

"Take me with you... Or do I need to slaughter every person in this room?" Law smirked with wild eyes. His trusty sword were no where to be seen, but he shouldn't push things.

"I'll lead the way!" The scientist wore a forced smile and began walk running ahead to the new lab. Well, kind of... The Scientist led Law to the room next door to the new training facility that he called the Observation Deck. This room out-looked the facility with a large viewing window that separated the Deck from the actually lab. This time the window wasn't one sided, it was clear so that people on either side could see what lies ahead. Law wasn't pleased that he wasn't taken to the actual lab, but this will suffice for now. The scientists that took you into their possession before lied you in the middle of the lab floor and quickly fanned out leaving you completely alone within the lab. Something was surely up...

"What fruit did Akainu feed (Y/n)?" Law questioned the head scientist, the man were astonished that Law were so calm this time around.

"Admiral Sakazuki didn't inform us of what fruit he had the subject consume. The only thing we know of her fruit is that it is a mythical logia fruit."

"Intersting," Law hummed, scratching the hairs on his chin. Mythical? That means the fruit is something that's even a myth to the world nowadays. In reality that means it's a fruit that is a rare sight like those Zoan users who are extinct animals. But a mythical Logia? Law hummed again, watching you carefully, but nothung has changed. "A Mythical Logia..."

"You're trying to figure it out as well I see," the Head Scientist chuckled. Law glared at him for talking to him so carefree like Law were his friend or something. "I can't wait to see what it is! Maybe its a Gold or Tar fruit. Maybe even a Water fruit? We've never seen one of those!"

"Yeah yeah shut up!" Law waved his hand and scratched his chin again.

Another moment had passed, and it looked like the serum in your system had been warded off by your immune system and you progressively sat up from the ground. You were so light headed, you couldn't help but to sway and press a hand to the steel floor to keep you upright out of instincts alone. The room seemed to spin and fingertips tingled like you were touching ice with your bare fingers. "Somebody... Help me," you groaned, falling forwards back onto your face. Your entire body felt like your mouth after taking a breath mint, cold yet bursting with energy. It all felt too overwhelming...

"Somebody... Somebody help me!" You cried out into an outburst, with said outburst, an energy exerted from your body like a white cloud that blinded you that sent everyone in the lab running. Law even took a few steps back from astonishment to the white cloud that enveloped your body that took form into a a clear protective shell that seemed to expand and expand. It was like a disease, the crystal spikes covered everything the eye could see. Till everything went black...

Law awoke in a daze soon not so long afterwards. The Observation window was shattered into nothingness with large shards of crystal shooting out from the opening and crushed the ceiling above. Law grunted, to the sharp pain in his left shoulder. "Glass... Crystal... It's all the same," it's exactly as he said. A crystal shard protruded from his shoulder stained in the darkest of crimson. "What the hell is going through (Y/n)'s head? Accident or not, don't pull me into this... ROOM!"
