As I stood there looking into his kind, gentle blue eyes. I knew I had made the right decision. If it wasn't for him, I would not be where I am today. You are probably confused. I will start from the beginning. Here is my story:

Aerlinniel POV

Where am I? I thought to myself. This is not the Fangorn forest I know. It feels different. The air is different. I must be in a different forest. I have never been outside of Fangorn before. I need to be careful and learn my surroundings.

I don't hear many animals. Maybe a few birds and a couple of rabbits. I hear a twig snap and my hand immediately goes to my dagger.

I wait a couple minutes but I don't hear anything else so I relax. Something is different about this forest. I don't know what it is, but I don't like it. Maybe I should turn around. But, I don't want to go back to Fangorn either. I will just keep going forward.

Hours pass into days. I know that soon I am going to need rest. I have been traveling for days without rest and I am feeling very exhausted. I have ran out of food, so I am trying to find anyone who could help me.

I start to think of my parents. I remember them telling me that I am beautiful. They would also tell me what I look like. My parents said I have long blonde hair and my eyes were a silver color with dark blue designs that look like a snowflake. Also, they told me I look a lot like Lady Galadriel, the Lady of Light.

I got my Naneth's (Mom) blonde hair. But nobody knows who I got my eyes from. Every single member of my family has had green eyes, or so I'm told. No one knows why mine are different.

I need to rest for a bit. I find a tree, sit down and lean against it. I let out a sigh, thankful to be able just to sit for a bit. I listen to the sounds of the forest and start to hum a tune.

I wake up with a start. I have no idea how long I have been here, but I can tell that it has been a while because I am a little stiff. I stand up and stretch before continuing my journey through this forest.

All of the sudden, I hear a noise. I turn to the direction of the noise. Then I feel a piercing pain in my shoulder. I reach my hand up to touch it. It is an elvish arrow. I feel myself fall on my knees and then drop to the ground. My last thought being, what just happened?

What do you guys think of my book so far? I know it is short but the chapters will get longer. I am sorry to say, but I am starting school on Tuesday. I will update one or two chapters from each of my books every Friday. But I am not making any Promises. I hope you all have had a wonderful summer! :)
