Louis's POV:
Michelle gave me the boy to look after him so she can go on her date with Harry, one kid with us wouldn't kill me, not one bit. I looked at the boy, he's so quiet, I'm reading what his mind is saying, "at least I'm safe inside my mind" "no you're not." The boy looked at me and said, "what?" "You're not safe inside your mind." The boy sighs and he says, "you read minds?" "Yes." "That's awesome!" I know the boy is thinking about rocky road sundae, so I gave him a rocky road sundae. I looked at him with a smile, "what's your name?" "Kendall." "Kendall what?" "Just Kendall." "Well, Kendall, what happened to your parents?" "I don't know. But I ran away from an orphanage so I can find them." "Well, you can stay with us. We'll be your family." "Really?" "Yes." "But who will be my new mommy and daddy?" "We'll see." Kendall seemed like a nice kid. I think he'd be the perfect fit. So we have to keep him from being a vampire... or worse.
