"Wait,I'm a daughter of the goddess of magic?" I asked Percy as we walked to the big house where Chiron told all the head counselors of each cabin and me to meet.

" You sure are." He told me with a goofy grin. I grinned back at him.

Pretty soon we arrived are the big house.

We walked inside and sat down at the big round table where everyone was waiting.

Percy gave me an I'm sorry look as Annabeth pulled him over to sit with her.

I decided to sit down by Leo.

"Hey, look who it is." He said as I sat down.

He put his warm hand on my leg under the table.

I decided to give him a smart Alec response.

"I only sat here cause you're nice, funny, and cute." I said.

"I'm cute?" He raised his eyebrows at me.

"Yes. You are." I told him and gave him a crooked grin.

"Well you are very beautiful yourself inside and out." He told me with the same crooked grin.

I was about to reply, but I was cut off by Chiron saying, "Okay everyone quiet down! There has been another great prophecy!" Several people in the room groaned including Percy and Leo.

"Another one?" Percy asked

"This really sucks." Leo commented.

"Now, this prophecy concerns the new girl, Lia." Chiron said.

Everyone in the room turned to look at me.

"Here's the prophecy." Chiron announced.

A daughter of magic shall compete

With a son of water and a son of fire

The daughter of magic will survive

But one will die

The cursed blade again shall reap

And the mist, like swirling sheep.

"This prophecy obviously concerns Lia." Chiron announced.

"Lia you may choose your companions."

I already knew who I was going to pick.

"Percy and Leo." I said.

"Alright." Chiron said. "You leave tonight so pack well."

Leo walked with me while we walked out of the big house.

"Come on I want to show you something." He said grabbing my hand.
