Masayang nag kwentuhan ang mga magulang namin. Minsan ay napapasagot ako at si Raven, minsan din napapa sagot si Claire sa mga tanong nila. But most of the time, tahimik lang kaming nakikinig sa kanila. Si Raven minsan nag kwekwento din about sa company. Ganun lang talaga siya, madaldal! From time to time, I see Claire stealing glances at me. Nag panggap lang ako na di ko siya nakikita, or should I just say na wala talaga akong pakialam? Ganun nga wala akong pakialam. Wala akong pakialam sa kanya! She's no one compared to the woman residing inside my heart. She would never replace her!
"So kailan natin aayusin ang arrangement ng kasal?" masayang tanong ni dad
"Uhm yeah about that" tugon naman ng ina ni Claire
I fake a cough to get their attention.
"Uhm mom dad? Mrs and Mr. Lee?"
"Yes?" ani nila saakin
"I've been thinking, pwede bang ako nalang ang mag plano ng kasal namin ni Claire?"
Muli kung naramdaman ang pag siko ni Raven pero hindi ko nalang iyon pinansin. My dad's forehead creased.
"Why not? That could be arrange" tugon ni Mr. Lee
"Sure ka ba diyan Razeneil?" sambit ni dad
I could sense seriousness in his voice. Whenever he calls me by my whole name, seryoso siya.
"Yes dad"
Hell I'm really sure! Dapat ako ang mag arrange ng kasal na ito.
"And why is that? May event organizer naman" tugon ni dad
"Kaya nga!" singit ng epal kung kambal
"Because..." I took a deepbreath
"I want this wedding to be special for Claire and also for me, isang beses lang naman kami pwede ikasal so I want it to be the best it could be"
Sorry Raven, but I'm always ready for my rebuttals.
I saw our parent's eyes delighted. Napasinghap din ata si Claire. I smirked inside my mind. Her reaction is what I'm waiting for. Just the perfect way to start my plan.
"Well kung ganun naman pala, why not? Pero sigurado ka ba diyan, iho?" tanong saakin ni Mrs. Lee
"Yes po, ako na po ang bahala sa lahat nga kakailanganin" I smiled
"Okay then, so si Raze na ang mag aarange ng kasal niyo Claire" masayang sambit ng ina
Claire bowed her head and blushed. Pasimple pang hindi naka ngiti pero kitang kita ko naman na naka ngiti ito. The fuck pabebe talaga!
"So it's settled then, Raze anak I'm counting on you" seryosong ani saakin ni mom
Tumango ako at ngumiti. A genuine one, para mukha naman kapanipani wala.
"So Claire, why don't you tour Raze inside our house and maybe catch up para di naman kayo awkward sa isa't isa?" tanong ng kanyang ama
I looked at her reaction, nagulat siya at hindi makapagsalita.
She's a nerd by the way.
"Claire" seryosong sambit ni Mr. Lee
"A-Ah yes daddy" agad siyang tumayo.
Tinignan niya ako, I guess she's waiting for me to stand up too. I didn't wait any second at agad akong tumayo. I smiled at her and to our parents. I looked at Raven who's currently smirking at me right now.
I mouthed 'Fuck you asshole!' before completely following Claire outside.
I followed her to wherever she desires to go. Wala naman akong pakialam actually. Ramdam ko ang hiya sa kanya, parang naiilap siya saakin. Napa ngisi ako dahil duon.
Magiging mailap kapa kaya saakin Claire kapag nadala na kita sa cloud nine?
"U-Uhm Raze eto palang yung garden n-
"Let's go straight to the point Claire, we're only doing this marriage for the sake of our parent's traditions or agreements okay?" diretso kung sambit sa kanya
Marahan siyang napa singhap.Kitang kita ang gulat sa lila niyang mata.
"P-
"Ayaw ko na ng paligoy ligoy pa"
Hindi ko siya pinatapos.
"This marriage will be bound purely on agreement okay? Romance is not visible in our marriage I hope you got that Claire" malamig kung bulong
Napa yuko siya. I can sense that she's sad. Why would she be? Hindi naman ata niya ako kilala? Or kilala niya kasi sikat naman kaming mga Del Valle across the globe. Well I don't care whatever her reason are.
"Do you understand Claire?"
"Y-Yes" mahina niyang tugon
"Okay, just thank me for doing an effort in making this wedding a fairytale for you" I coldy said as I walked away from her. Bumalik na ako sa loob at sumunod naman siya saakin.
"Okay so I guess we'll see you on the wedding?" tanong ni mom sa kanila
"Sure! Goodbye, mag iingat kayo" Claire's parent said as we walked out of their home
I took a once last cold glimpse at Claire before riding my car.
I guess I'm off to some ramdon bar again.
