New Beginnings

When the games start

           The next day in school, Betty and jughead returned to their investigation.
"I think the next people we need to interview, are people on the football team. Then Jason." Jughead said.
"Why don't we just do Jason first?"
"Because we'll see if the football team know anything about it first. Jason will probably lie or refuse to tell us. Once he knows we're onto him he'll make the football team promise not to say anything." Betty just stood there with her mouth open.
"Woah. Good thinking. Do you always think five steps in advance?" She said smiling at his cuteness.
"That's called being a good detective." Jughead said teasing her.
"Now come here. Let's take a break." And with that, jughead pulled her into a kiss. As his lips softly touched the surface or hers, he slowly wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer. The kiss got deeper, more passionate. Then once again, they got interrupted. Veronica stood at the door, not wanting to intrude. But she had to. She knocked on the door frame.
"Betty, jughead?" Jughead sighed and let go of Betty. Betty tightened her perfect ponytail which was now, a bit messy.
"Yes, Veronica. What do you need?" Jughead asked a bit irritated that she ruined there makeout sesh.
"You guys need to come quick." She said making her way out of the door.
"What. Why?" Betty didn't want to leave. She wanted to stay next to Jughead.
"Hurry! It's Toni's locker!" As soon as the name Toni got mentioned defensive jughead took over.
"Right both of you come with me now! Hurry." Jughead shouted. He ran so fast down the corridors of riverdale high till he got to the corridor Toni's locker was on. They saw a massive group of people crowded around the locker. Flashlights from phones going off everywhere. Everyone gasping.
"Everyone, move out the way!" Betty screamed trying to make a way to get to Toni. They shoved and struggled through all the crowd and finally got to the front. There Toni was. Standing still. Not a word to be said. She didn't flinch. Jughead and Betty turned around, and there across her locker was 'GO TO HELL SERPENT SLUT' Their hearts broke a few times over. Kevin hugged Toni and him, Betty and jughead dragged Toni away.
"It's fine! I'll be okay, just leave me here!" Toni screamed with tears running down her face.
"Toni, listen to me. You need to come with us." Kevin said calmly.
"I just need to get my books and I'll go!" She still attempted to scream but her voice was so wobbly it couldn't get louder. A tall handsome boy made his way to the front. A boy called reggie.
"Who the fuck did this?!" Reggie literally screamed scaring everyone. You could see the fury in his eyes. The fury no one could stop.
"Reggie. Stop. You need to take Toni away, take her to her trailer. Just anywhere away from here. You and Kevin, go now. She won't listen to us, but she might listen to you." Jughead said to Reggie, sternly. Toni was on the floor balling her eyes out. Reggie knelt down.
"Baby? You have to come with me Okay? Your going to be alright, you just need to come with me right now. We are going to take you back to your trailer and then we'll go to pops." Toni looked up. Her mascara was smudged and her eyes were red.
"Now come on let's go." Reggie said whilst standing up. He grabbed her hand and helped her up. Reggie dragged Toni through the crowds and lead her away. Reggie, Kevin and Toni arrived back at the trailer.
"Baby?" Reggie asked waiting for a response. He turned the corner and found Toni blankly staring at the wall.
"I have to go take care of some business. Kevin is going to stay with you. Okay? I will be back in less than a hour. I promise." Toni nodded and Reggie left.

           Mean while, Archie Andrews had a girlfriend to get. Since he told Veronica he liked midge, now he had to make a move on her.
"Hey midge." Archie said as he entered the library.
"Oh, Hey archie. Right? Archie Andrews."
"Yep. That's me." Archie smiled awkwardly.
"What are you doing here?"
"I was actually just wondering if you wanted to go on a date to pops with me?" He asked rubbing his neck.
"Em. Yeh sure. Okay, meet you there at 6." Archie grinned and walked out. He returned to the form room with three very mad teenagers.
"Woah why the grumpy faces."
"Don't give us that shit Archie." Jughead said angrily. He was furious, after all he did just hurt his sister.
"We know you did that to Toni's locker you dick." Veronica added in whilst standing up. Betty also stood up and neared Archie.
"And that is NOT okay." She hissed into his ear.
"Woah woah woah. So what if I did? It was just a stupid prank. Since, when did you guys actually care abou-"
"Archie fucking Andrews." Reggie slammed the door behind him.
"Oh god reg, it was a fucking joke." Reggies face was inches away from Archie.
"Don't you dare, say another word about her."
"Or what?" Archie smirked.
"Or I. Will. End. You." He said clenching his fists together.
"Woah, so scar-"
And with that, reggies arm swung round from the right and hit Archie's mouth so hard archie slammed onto the ground. He had blood running out of his mouth. Archie could literally feel his mouth filling with it. He got up and stumbled backwards and no one was there to catch him. He fell back, his head whacking against the corner of the table. Unconscious. Reggie just looked up at jughead, Betty and Veronica and ran away.
"Reggie! Come back it wasn't your fault!" Betty screamed down the corridor. Reggie turned around, fear in his eyes.
"I-I'm a m-monster." He turned back around and ran away.
