As we arrived I started to fidget in my seat from all of my giddiness with a hint if nerves mixed in there can't believe that I'm really going to be a mother soon after this weekend
I am so excited about it I just can't wait so into my thoughts I didn't hear them calling me. The nurse waved her clipboard in my face. I frowned at her
"Yes" I asked with attitude
She smiled gently
"You are Ms. Edwards right "
She asked me
" yes I am " I said i mean really I was the only one here.
" we'll miss we've been waiting for you for 15 minutes " she giggled
"Oh I'm sorry I kinda zoned out " I can feel my cheeks get warm good thing for my chocolate skin tone or I would be more embarrassed.
" that fine it happens to me more often than not " she said " well are you ready " she asked excitedly
I blinked at her
" yes "
"Ok then the doctor will take you now " she moved back form my face and started to lead the way.
" the doctor will be right with you "
She said and the left without any other word.
I started to look around the room just then the door opened
" well you must be -"
" Ms. Edwards yes may we just start the process in starting to get a little antsy " I said staring straight in to the doctors eyes
He blinked and then smiled
" why of course; since we've already prepared you body and know that you are of good health then o then it would be safe to say we can get you rounded with child as soon as you walk out of these doors" he said in a cheerful voice
I look at him maybe he was trying to keep the aura happy so that this would go over smoothly so I just went along with it and smiled right back
" so I just need for you to lay back and relax "
After he said those words the process began
It only took 10 minutes to complete because I was already ovulating so there was no need for extra drugs I did feel a little bit of cramps but nothing I couldn't handle
The doctor told me that I should stay in contact with the clinic and that he would alert my OB-GYN about this
I got into the car with my mom again this time with her driving smiling I looked over to her and said
" your going to be a grand ma soon"
She frowned and I frowned back
What ms her problem
" grand ma makes me sound old let's try GG instead " she smiled
I smiled back
On the rest of the way home I couldn't help but think of the future and what it had in store .
