Around 12:30 in the afternoon I woke up to loud banging on my front door I got out of my bed groggily who in the hell would interrupt that blissful sleep, normally I would've been up at like 6:30 but since I've gotten pregnant I've been extremely tired I can't stay up even if my life depended on it. As soon as my feet touched my gray carpet I had to make mad a dash to the bathroom before I peed on myself.
"Aahhh" i sighed in delight as everything just flowed out as soon as I was finished I wiped, flushed, and washed I went to the kitchen to make a sandwich forgetting about the banging on the door, Just as I went to take a bite out of my sandwich the banging starts again startling me making me drop my sandwich back on my plate I looked up,and glared at the door "WHO. IS. IT?" I yell surprising myself with the hostility in my voice I was hungry God damn it. "Derrick." the person yelled from the other side of the door. Oh. I decided to sing to him " HELLO FROM THE OUTSIDE" I waited a minute for his response as i walked to the door.
I paused at the door "at least I can say that I've tried to tell you." He sung in a mumble "I can't hear you Derrick a little louder." I snicker "can you just open the door please." he sighed heavily "Fine." I huffed out and opened the door and there stood Derrick in all his chocolate glory, he looked good. He looked really good.
I stepped aside to let him through the door, then I realized something. So I stepped back in his way before he made his way into my house."Derrick how'd you know where I live" I asked looking directly at his face to brace his reaction
He looked momentarily stunned then he regained his cool composer. He smirked at me "I got it from that little friend of yours you were with last time." I stared at him for a long moment. I stepped back again he went to step in but I slammed the door in his face.
And secured all of my locks before running to my bedroom for my iPhone I went to my recent calls and tapped on Rosa's name it rung three times before she picked up. " what the hell could you possibly need this early in the morning." "shut up. shut the fuck up. Shut yo bitch ass up . Shut yo bitch ass the fuck up don't nobody want to hear that bullshit" I said all in one go. About a second later I heard loud laughter I smiled a little, this was our routine every time one of us called to early in the morning "bitch it's 12:30 it's not early" I chuckled " wake up I have to ask you something so focus"She yawned on the other end "yea yea yea I'm up now what do you want" I jumped right into it being blunt "did you give Derrick mmy address yesterday" I waited "No why" I inhaled sharply "Nothing. It's nothing" I said in a daze "Why ask" she asked suspiciously now on alert "Well he's at my door and he-" she cut me off before I could finish "HE'S AT YOUR DOOR" she yelled interrupting me in the process "Yes he's at my door" I paused as I heard my front door break open I inhaled deeply trying to calm my nerves "Rosa I think he's in the house." "What do you mean he's in the house." she exclaimed I slowly got up from my spot on my bed and walked to my door and locked it then I speed walked to my bathroom and locked that door also."He broke down my fucking door that's what I mean." I said taking a seat on the toilet
"Ok I'll call the cops" she said "Rosa I'm not a fucking cop caller and neither are you so don't do that I don't need them all in my business." I said quickly to her my momma ain't raise no punk I handle my own."Your right, I'm coming" she said right before hanging up "No no no Rosa don't-" I listened to the dial tone. This bitch did not just hang up on me while I'm in crisis I just stared at my phone for a moment longer.
I jumped when I heard the door handle to the bathroom jiggle "Derrick why the hell are you breaking down all of my doors" he didn't reply "Derrick!!" I exclaimed all I got in return from him was a loud growling sound 'what the hell was that' Being the dumbass I normally was I opened the door just a crack and saw a blur of midnight black fur fly in front of me and before I knew it I was on the ground with a giant dog on top of me.
The giant dog in question and I kept staring at one another oddly enough I didn't feel I didn't feel any emotion my mind was completely blank the dog ducked his big head to the side of my shoulder and sniffed me there. For a long pause we stayed like that until it rolled out it's long tongue and licked along the side of my neck to see if I would respond to that
I must've had a reaction that it didn't like because when I flinched it immediately started growling at me, that made me tense up even more and lean forward a little as pain shot through me a second later I'm guessing it was from the impact of the fall and I hadn't moved enough to feel it. I let out a loud groan
