*****Taylor POV*****

As we're talking and joking with the guys, I start to feel all weird when I look at Garrett. I think I might like Garrett. There's no fucking way. And he probably doesn't even like me back. I pull Jake aside and the guys give me weird looks, but oh well.

"Jake. I gotta talk to you." I whisper whine.

"I know." He says.

"You do?" I ask, surprised.

"Yep. You like Garrett." He says, smiling.

"How-" I start. "Did I know? Puh-lease, you have been my best friend since forever. I can tell when you're having your first crush." He says, doing a happy dance.

"Oh my god." I say, groaning. The guys look over at us when they see Jake dancing. I mentally face palm myself. And Jake. I'm about to turn back to Jake when I notice Alex's angry face.

"Oh, and Taylor." Jake says.

"Yeah?" I reply.

"Alex likes you." He says.

"Greeaaaat. That explains a lot." I say.

"It's. A. Love. Triangle." Jake screeches. The guys look at us again. I punch Jake, then pull him back over to all the guys.

"Sorry 'bout that." I say.

"It's fine." Zach says, but it sounds like a question.

I laugh and Alex glares at me. I glare back. Well then. When the bell rings, we head towards our lockers. I see Jake whisper something to Garrett and Garrett nods, then walks over to me and puts his arm around me.

"Jake-" He starts.

"I'm gonna kill him." I say. Then I slide my arm around his waist. He smiles at me and I smile back.

"Soooo." He says.

"Yeaaaa." I reply. I'm so fucking lame.

"Do you-uh-wanna go out with-uh-me Friday?" Garrett says, looking at me then looking away.

"Sure." I say, nausea clenching my stomach. We earn a bunch of whistles from the guys, who apparently were listening in on our convo.

"Not cool guys." I say, glaring at them.

"Easy tiger." Jake calls. I flip him off. Garrett laughs at me, then drops me off at my locker.

"So. I'll-uh-see you in class." He says, walking backwards. I nod and turn to my locker.

"What the hell?" Alex says, glaring at me. Wow, there's a lot of glaring going on today.

"What?" I ask, confused.

"I fucking like you. Why'd you do that?" He whisper yells.

"I didn't know." I reply, shocked at his reaction.

"And I don't have to clear my dates with you. I don't have to tell you that I'm going out with someone or anything." I say, turning my back on him.

"You should." He replies.

"Your not my fucking boss!!!!" I yell.

Everyone looks in our direction. I turn back around, get my books, and go to class. When I get to my desk, I slam my books on it.

"Tay-" Jake starts.

"Shut up." I snap.

"Someone's on their per-" Jake starts. I punch him in the jaw.

"I'm not." I growl. Why is everyone trying to piss me off this morning. Whatever they're doing, its working. Jake rubs his jaw and stares at me. Since I punched Jake, I now have the attention of the entire class.

"Unless you want to end up like Jake here, try not to piss me off." I say, standing up. Then I take my seat. Everyone quickly looks away.

"Taylor. Is it something I did? I swear I didn't mean to pressure you or-" Garrett starts, walking up to me.

lIt's not you. And I want to go out with you. Just other people don't want me to." I say, glaring at Alex. Alex glares back. So Jake, being Jake, turns and punches Alex in the jaw. It's like a punching circle.

"I don't know what the hell you said, but Taylor deserves to be happy. So go fuck your sorry ass and leave her alone." Jake says to Alex. Then he turns back around.

"Thanks." I say softly.

"Ummm." Garrett says.

"I'm fine now." I say, trying to smile at him.

"Okay?" He says unsure.

"It's fine." I say, smiling for real. He nods and sits down in the back again. Jake looks at me questionably.

"I'll explain later." I whisper. He nods.
