--Taya--

Crying wasn't any use, so by 9.00, the tears stopped rolling down my cheeks. My eyelids slowly opened, revealing the white ceiling, with a central spinning fan. I could hear someone in the kitchen. I hid my face in one of the many pillows scattered on the bed. I groaned. I didn't want to get up. I didn't want to tell Sian what happened. But I was sort of too late.

In came Sian, wth a cup of tea in her hands. I groaned again. She paced over to the side of the bed and put her hand over my forehead.

                "You okay?" she asked

                I didn't give a response, so she must've assumed that I wasn't

"Do you want to talk about about it?"

I sat up in my bed. I tried saying something , but my mouth refused to make a sound. Sian raised an eyebrow. I must've been making noises of something.

"I think I over reacted." I choke out. "A lot."

"Tay, I have no idea what you're talking about. Do you want to start from the beginning?" Sian asked

"Oh right." I whisper and then laugh a little to myself.

"Alice is gone. We can go to the living room if you want."

I nodded. Sian literally had to pull me out of bed and carry me to the couch.

"So. The beginning." Sian started off

"Ok, well I went inside Nandos." I began. I paused as I tried to think which bits of the story I should leave out. "And...Niall was sitting at the back of the place. So I said hello, but like, only in a whisper. I sat down, looked at the menu, got myself comfortable and all. Then he tells me we're not eating at Nandos. I was disappointed."

"What! How could he reject Nands?!" Sian screamed

"That's what I thought! But it was probably because he didn't want to risk being caught by the paparazzi. But anyway. He takes me through the kitchen. I honestly thought we were going to eat in the kitchen for a second." I continue

                Sian lets out a laugh

"But we were just passing through. From there, we exit a door which reveals this street that's like...dead. It was empty. We turn a corner. Oh wait. I'm forgetting something. Think!" I say

I think long and hard about what happened in that alleyway. I don't have a good memory. But soon enough, it comes to me.

"Oh, Oh, Oh! I remember!" I scream

Sian waits patiently. I lower my tone a little

"He, Niall James Horan, told me..." I let the suspense kick in "That I, Taya  Lauren Oakley...looked beautiful." I finished

Sian stared at me in disbelief. I nodded several times.

"You're kidding? Right?! Alright, it sounded like it was going well, why were you so upset when you got back? Like, if he told me I was beautiful, I would bang him! Not run off and cry!" she said
