"maaan" I exclaimed to myself as I hung up my phone and put it into my
pocket. "koron" I called out to the little dog who perked his head up
from where he laid on the couch. "Your papa is hiding something isn't
he?" the little dog jumped off the couch and ran into Ruki's bedroom.
I hesitated for a moment before following the dog to the bedroom "what
is it?" I asked the little dog who was now wagging his little tail on
the bed. "should I do a little snooping?"
I paused and looked around the room to think while rubbing Korons head
"Yea... Lets go" I said more to myself as dropped to the floor and
looked under the bed. "nothing here"
I then moved to look through his drawers but to no avail there was
nothing to show he and the others where hiding from me.
"closet?"I said raising a eyebrow to koron as I opened the closet door
and started rummaging through the boxs and bags on the bottom of the
closet, but when I found nothing I started looking in the top. I grab
a stack of shoe boxs and began to pull them down when the one on top
fell to the ground spilling its contents everywhere.
"shit" I cursed to myself as I sat the boxs Dow. And started to pic up
the pictures that had fallen all over the floor. As I began to pic
them up I paused and looked at them in awe.
"What the?" I asked looking at the pictures of me and .. Ruki. "is
this what they were trying to hide from me... Why... Why would they
hide this from me.?" I asked as I shuffled through the pictures seeing
the happiness on I haven't seen in Ruki's face since the moment I woke
up, But above that the look in my eyes.... "I look ... In love"...
Koron was now next to me biting and tugging on my sleeve. "what is it
koron" the little dog ran off and quickly came back with my cell
phone in his mouth "right ... I should call..." I said Taking the
phone from the dog and dialing Ruki's number.
The phone rang a few times before it went to his voicemail "shit.. You
lie to me ... Then you don't answer my call.. Fine" I said as I dialed
Kai's number and waited for him to answer.
"hello?" kais voice said as he answered my call but I didn't respond
at first I just thought buf when he said my name "Reita?" I exploded
"Kai... WHY THE HELL DIDNT YOU GUYS TELL ME ABOUT .... THIS ... ABOUT
ME AND ... ME AMD AND RUKI?" I screamed into the phone fighting off
tears that threatened to spill.
Kai was silent for awhile unto he said "how did you figure that out?"
he asked surprisingly calm. "how .. How ... There's a shoe box filled with pictures of us...
Together Kai!...why didn't you all tell me , did you not think this
was something I needed to know?"I said as I put put the photos on the
shoe box and carried the shoe box into the loving room. I sat the box
onto the coffee table and collapsed onto the couch.
"we were the told it be bad to tell you about it" Kai said while
sighing. "who told you that.. No no more importantly why did they tell
you that." I asked as koron jumped into my lap and beg to stroke his
fur. "your doctor said that if we told you when you didn't remember any of
it, them it may just destroy your friendship with Ruki.... And not
having you the way he did was hard enough .. None of us wanted to risk
any worse than that." Kai explained and I silently listened then when
he paused for a moment I asked "what is it"
"Reita... Can I asks what are you going to do about Ruki.... Are you
going to tell him you know?" I paused a moment before answering "well
yea... I called him first but he sent me to voicemail...why?"
"Okay.. Them let me ask you this...How do you feel about Ruki because let me remind you ..Ruki is in love with you... and if you let him know you know when you don't love him ... Just think of the damage that can do"
I paused a moment before saying "thanks Kai... Your right... And
honestly I'm very confused right now ... I don't know how I feel...
Its all so... So ..Confusing?
"I understand just be careful, and don't do anything rash." Kai said
very motherly and i smiled remembering the times our motherly leader
kai made everyone smile "thanks, I'll talk to you later" i said as i
hung up the phone and rested my head on the back of the couch.
"maybe i can fall in love with him..... I did it once right... I can
do it again"I said picking Koron up and holding him In the air above
my face "its the least I could do for him."
