What inspires you to be a writer?
-I draw inspiration from a number of things: events around me, real life situations, people I know and the characters/people I am writing about. However my main inspiration I now have is the people who actually read my work, the result they give me by commenting voting and just reading my books gives me motivation to write.
How long have you been on Wattpad?
I began reading a while before I began writing but I joined January 15th 2012.
When did you start writing?
-I dabbled in Twilight fan fiction in year 7 and 8 at about age 12. At 13-14 I began writing my first One Direction one and then at age 15 I started my most popular one, Zalfie.
What book are you currently working on?
I’m actually working on two at the moment: I’m correcting and adding bonus chapters in to my completed book “ZALFIE” as I want to be able to print and sell copies of it. I’m also working on the sequal to it, slowly but surely, updating chapters and trying to get the plot right and how I want it. It’s become a harder challenge than I originally intended as the pressure from the first book is high and I don’t want to disspoint.

ZALFIE: Zoe Sugg and Alfie Deyes are just two teenagers who have fallen in love with the internet and each other. Both have become successful on a well known sight called youtube and are considered Internet famous by many. Wanting to have some privacy under the curious gaze of their millions of subscribers, Zoe and Alfie find it hard to keep their little secret undiscovered. What inspired you to write that story?:
At the time of writing Zalfie there were very little if none youtube fan fictions on wattpad. I couldn’t find any Zalfie ones that were based on their real life relationship and I wanted to bring something new. I watched a lot of youtubers and wanted to incorporate them into the story too as they are all friends.
Advice you want to give people on wattpad:
Don’t give up. Just because it is difficult to get lots of reads/votes/comments doesn’t mean you should stop. If you love and have a passion for writing…do it. Who cares if tons of people read it? Do what makes you happy. However, definitely get involved in the wattpad community and look for people with similar interests and talk to them. Nearly everyone on wattpad is open to checking out other people’s story if asked.
