Sage POV
I woke up to find myself laying on the deck. I sat up groggily, coughing water.
My shoulder flaring with pain and I winced, cradling my shoulder. I looked around, the light of the sun blinding me.
Peter sat a few feet away, tending to charlotte. He used his air elemental powers to propel the water out of her airway and she coughed, greedily sucking air into her lungs.
She looked around, completely bewildered and slumped to the floor, unconscious, her shallow breathing being the only sound piercing the silence. I rubbed my eyes.
"Peter what's going on?" A lazy smirk arched it's way across his face.
"WellI heard you guys shouting and thought it might be a good idea to help." He sobered a bit.
"Cobalt killed the captain of that ship and I pulled you guys in with a rope. That's a pretty gnarly stab wound.
Anyways, as you just saw, Charlotte is ok. Though I will never understand how you get yourself into these situations."
He shook his head in disbelief. I tried to stand up, swaying in the process as the world furiously spun and tilted off its axis, finally stumbling into Peter.
I gritted my teeth as my shoulder bumped into him. "Woah slow down cowboy. I know you probably didn't notice but your HURT!"
The stars started closing in on me and I blinked rapidly. "We need to have a crew meeting." I said quickly.
"Please call the crew up." He nodded and left. I quietly groaned as I pushed myself up, inspecting the wound on my shoulder.
My whole shirt was soaked in blood and the flesh underneath was broken.
