Tris POV
I jump off the train and land on my feet on the roof. I jump into Dauntless. Remembering that this was the place where I first met Tobias.
After I finally manage to get off the net without anyones help, I run across the hallways and past the chasm, heading for the pit.
When I get there, the pit is empty. " The pit, centre of life here in Dauntless" I remember Tobias saying before we got together.
I look everywhere, all the apartments, the initiates dorms. Even the fear landscape room. I exit the fear landscape room and head for the cafeteria.
Nobody there.
The tatoo parlour is the only place left.
As I am heading down the corridors that lead to the tatoo parlour, I feel the familiar prick of the needle going into my neck.
Before I black out, I turn around and see the smug face of Evelyn, holding a syringe filled with purple liquid I know as the death serum.
