I was pondering today about the amazing power of our senses
And how most of us use them to perceive and justify our circumstancesAlthough some of us may not completely agree
That we don't have to be blind to be incapable to seeWe're the only ones allowing ourselves to be oppressed and critiqued
Whenever we focus our energy on the negative thoughts they speakWe are giving them the power to be in our thoughts and interfere
When we choose to close our eyes and hold our tongues in fearWe're unconsciously experiencing what we call chaotic days often
When we practice the habit of forgetting to pay attention and listenTo the powerful inner voice that is always guiding us from inside
Simply because we're so used to blaming the world outsideAnd every time we choose to use people and circumstances to justify our tears
We end up being the only ones holding ourselves back from our dreamsBut when we understand that no one can make us think or feel the way we do
And we start to believe that we can manifest anything we put our minds intoWe can embark on the most exciting journey of self-discovering life
When we choose to remind ourselves that freedom is a state of mind.
