Disabling Help vs Inspiring Help

As we connect with one another
we get to choose how we inspire
and as we understand that the only way to help others
is by being in complete alignment as an up-lifter
we then have the opportunity to not only be affirmative
but we're also allowing ourselves  to radiate that which is positive

No matter what is happening in anyone's life
if we offer help is like giving them a double blade knife
as we confirm their thoughts of themselves as incapable
and help them by doing what they believe they're unable
what we are really doing is only making them more disabled

For if we do things to assure their inability to it for themselves
we're only feeding their beliefs that they can't be self-sufficient like ourselves
and by doing it so...
we become their dependency and they become our obligations
as we do things for them and neglect our own happiness

Even when we try to justify and defend the reasons why we do it
at some point, we must see and feel that it's time to quit
lying to ourselves that it makes us feel good to help them
when all along what we want is for them to be independent
will never really bring us or them a sense of fulfillment

But when we choose to help by self-inspiring
then that's when co-creation becomes thrilling
as we hold the people we care and love in our minds
as self-empowered creators as we are in our lives
and we don't judge the choices or path they choose
because we know that we can't walk in their shoes

We become the kind of friend and lover
that reflects that which we believe in each other
as we appreciate the expansion we're causing one another
life becomes the kind of playground we get to enjoy playing together.
