He’s not gonna show up. I sigh. My boyfriend John was supposed to come meet me here at Nando’s for a date. It’s been an hour that I’ve been here waiting. I pull out my phone and text him.

Hey :) Don’t bother coming, or even if you were going to come, well I’m leaving. We’re over asshole

I take my purse, put my coat on and leave Nando’s in tears, and jump in my car.

My phone rings, I see the caller I.D., it’s my friend Crista. I smile and answer.

“Hey! Mariaaaa” she sings, I tell she’s drunk right away.

“Cris, where are you? Why are you drunk?” I ask turning my car on.

“Shh don’t tell anyone…I’m wasted” she whispers then laughs in the phone.

“where are you, I’ll come pick you up” I say annoyed.

“No don’t pick me up, come party with me!” she shouts in the phone. I sigh, maybe partying would take my mind off stupid John.

“Okay where are you, I’ll come join you” I say.

“I’m at that club downtown, Lights. Come it’s fun!” she shouts loudly in the phone, hurting my eardrum.

“I’m on my way. See you later” I say then hang up and drive downtown.

“Mariaa!” Crista shouts when she sees me, she wraps her arm around my neck and uses my support to keep her from falling.

“I’m gonna go get something to drink alright?” I say then unwrap her tight grasp on me, she falls at once then stands up, laughing. I laugh then head to the bar.

Niall’s pov

I drink my second glass of tequila and hit the glass on the bar countertop, a bit too loudly.

‘you alright there?” a lovely voice asks.

“Yeah, perfect.” I say sarcastically.

“Wanna tell me whats wrong?” she asks, sitting on the stool beside me.

“I just got dumped” I say.

“ha me too” she smiles “he was an asshole. Glad we’re over”

“She was a bitch, guess I’m glad she dumped me” I say smiling.

“And why’s that?” she asks.

“Because then I would never have met this pretty girl" i smile.

"oh .. who is she?" she asks a bit disapointed.

"you" i smile then wink. She laughs and blushes.
