CHAPTER SIX

I hear Sara’s laughter echo through the cabin. ‘You can’t do that dear.’

‘Actually she can.’ Lisa intervenes.

‘What are you talking about?’ Sara’s voice raises. ‘She can’t!’ She screeches.

‘She can.’ Lisa says pointedly.

‘No!’ Sara yells walking closer to Lisa. ‘This was not in our plans, you said—‘

‘Plans?’

‘Plans?’

‘What?’

Emilie, Laila and I ask simultaneously.

‘What are you talking about?’ Laila demands.

Both Sara and Lisa remain silent, glancing at each other.

‘I—‘

Meagan interrupts Sara. ‘There is no tradition. There never was.’ She says dejectedly.

‘What are you doing?’ Sara tells her with a glare.

‘I’m sick of you. I’m done with following you around. You’re sick. Both of you. Go to hell!’ Meagan yells standing by our side.

I look between Sara and Lisa. ‘There was never a tradition?’ I ask them.

‘There was never even a sorority.’ Meagan responds. ‘We’re not even friends with Cecilie.’

‘What?!’ Laila screeches, and I start breathing heavily.

‘Cecilie is marrying Lisa’s ex—‘

‘Shut up Meagan.’ Lisa interrupts her placing the camera down, but still recording. ‘You don’t know what you’re talking about.’

‘Do I?’ Meagan asks  taking a step closer to her. ‘So it’s not true you came here with the sole purpose of ruining Cecilie’s wedding? Of messing up with her guests—‘

‘Shut up bitch!’ Sara yells stepping closer, but Laila and I step ahead, making a barricade between her and Meagan.

‘How did you get in?’ Laila asks, her eyes trained to Sara.

‘Through the Camp Site. We ran into you just as we made our way out off the woods—‘

‘—and you told me you were the bridesmaids Cecilie was expecting.’ Laila interrupted her.

‘Yes.’ Meagan confesses. ‘They’re not arriving until tomorrow, or today morning. So Lisa thought it would be fun to mess up with some of the decorations or even the dress before they got there, but then we ran into you so—‘
