Niall:

I woke up with the absolute worst hangover ever. I sniffed the room and noticed a repulsive stench hung in the air. I looked beside me and noticed an empty trash bin beside my bed full of vomit.

Oh, right. I had drunk a bit excessively last night. I had last been at the club from what I remembered. How did I get home? And who had put the bucket next to me?

I rolled over and saw the back of a brunettes head. I couldn’t help but to let out a little Irish boy scream.

The girl jolted awake, frightened. Opps. The brunette had been Aria. Bits and pieces of last night came to mind, although I still felt groggy.

“What the hell?” she asked, looking at me confused.

“I, er. I, um. I was just practicing my high notes,” I said. Ok, that was the absolute stupidest and most unbelievable lie I had ever come up with.

She laughed. “Are you sure that wasn’t a secret leprechaun call I’m not allowed to know?”

I would normally argue with her. Except I had the absolute worst bloody headache ever. She looked and me puzzled, then her expression went back to normal.

“Little Leprechaun, you’re a bit hungover-“

“Thanks so much, Captain Obvious!”

“You need a nap! After the nap just call for me. I’ll be somewhere in the room”.

After my blissful sleep I woke up and hugged the unused pillow beside me. The bed felt emptier then last night, when Aria had slept in it with me.

Shit. Had that really happened? Oh god, what other embarrassing things happened last night?

“Good morning sunshine,” a chipper voice said. Aria stood next to the bed holding a tray. I sat up, smelling food. The tray held pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, fruit, and a chocolate chip cookie.

“Aww, did you go all of the way to the store to buy me breakfast?” I teased.

She stuck out her tongue at me. “Of course not. I made that all for you. Little hungover leprechaun needs his strength. Plus, would I go out publicly dressed like this?” she said, gesturing to her outfit.

She was wearing a baggy white shirt that barely covered her bum. She wore only that. That shirt was my shirt. I couldn’t help but grin.

Oh god Niall, I thought to myself. She’s your bloody friend. And your bloody neighbor. Remember, no sex before marriage. No sex before married. That wasn’t working, I still thought about how her beige strapless bra showed through the shirt. Umm think of your mom. What could possibly be more of a turn off then your own mum?

She gave me an odd look, placed the tray on a table beside me, and walked back into the kitchen. Dammit! I could see her neon blue panties from under the shirt. No Horan, no! Stop thinking those things! Think of your mum, think of your mum, think of your mum, I silently chanted to myself.

“Do you miss her?” Aria’s voice called from the kitchen, over the running water. She was probably doing dishes right now.

“Miss who?” I called to her.

“Your mum. You were saying something about thinking of her”. Shit. So turns out that hadn’t just been in my head.

“Oh um, ya. I been missing her a lot these last few days”. Again, a poor excuse for a lie.

She placed a tall glass of water and two small green pills in my hands. “Take these. You’re going to need it”.

I gulped down the pills. “What happened last night?” I asked.
