Love Over Pain

Louis slept with Harry that night in case Harry was in any pain again. He did have to wake up once because Harry started bleeding from his arm again.

"Haz, wake up. We have to change the band-aid on your arm" Louis whispered.

"Okay Lou" Harry whispered back, still half-asleep. "I don't want to get up. Carry me Lou"

Harry sounded adorable and Louis couldn't help but followthrough with the sick boy's request. He slid out of bed and walked over to Harry's side, taking a minute to take in Harry's features. Despite his current state, he still looked like the boy Louis loved.

Louis scooped Harry up, careful not to hurt his arm, and carried him to the bathroom. He sat Harry down on the edge of the sink, keeping his hand around Harry's waist so that Harry wouldn't fall. He reached over for the first aid kit, fishing out the gauze and medical tape.

"Okay Harry, hold on to me while I patch up your arm again, understand?" Louis said looking up at Harry.

"Umm Hmm" Harry nodded with his eyes half-open.

Louis began to wrap the gauze around Harry's arm. He noticed how fit Harry was and he couldn't help but smile.

"What's so funny, Lou?"

"Oh nothing." Louis responded.

As Louis wrapped the final layer of gauze around Harry's arm and secured it, Harry fell over onto Louis arm.

"Ugh, Lou. I don't feel so well" Harry groaned.

"Oh my, Harry! What hurts?"

"My stomach. I think I'm going to throw up."

Louis motioned to the sink. "Okay Harry, lean in"

Louis gathered Harry's curls and held them back as the boy before him began to release the ill-looking contents into the sink.

When Harry finished, he picked his head back up. It wasn't long before Harry's knees gave in and he fainted, knocking Louis under him.

"Harry! Harry wake up!"

Louis struggled to get the well developed boy off his body. When he managed to free himself, he began to fan the boy.

"Okay Louis, what now?" he said to himself, looking around frantically.

He picked Harry up and layed him back down on the bed. He ran to the kitchen to fetch a glass of water.

"Harry! Harry!"

He propped Harry up on his arm and opened his mouth, letting the water make its way down the unconcious boy's throat. Harry sputtered and opened his eyes. Louis dropped the glass that was in his hands and hugged Harry tightly.

What if he had lost him?

What if he couldn't wake up by Harry's side anymore because Harry wouldn't even be there?

All of these thoughts ran through Louis' mind as he looked at Harry. They were in silence for a while  until Harry leaned in and placed his lips on Louis'.

Louis P.O.V

We just sat there. We didn't even speak. Harry began to lean in and butterflies began to flutter around in my stomach.

Maybe he's going to hug you.

Maybe he's going to tell you something.

No, Harry put his lips on mine and I felt my heart skip a beat. We were there for a while, still kissing I mean. Harry's lips were pale and dry. I was kissing a sick person. A very sick person. But I didn't care. It was this sick person that I loved. He pulled away and he hugged me.

"Thank you." he whispered and leaned back in bed, closing his eyes and drifting off into a peaceful sleep. I layed down next to him and put my arm around his waist.

"I love you Haz. I never want to lose you." I whispered.

I'm not sure if he heard me, but it didn't matter. As long as he was okay, I was calm. As long as he was in my arms, he was mine.
