Chapter 9: finding mom

Chase's pov

Everyone has been searching for Addison's mom for weeks

We have one more place she might be and that's at Travis's house

Me, addison, Brittany, Christie, brandon, and Chris are going there today to find her mom

Once we arrive I smell Travis

'He's here' I mind link the group 'along with Alexis'

Our plan is we break into groups group one will be me, addison, and Chris

And the second group will be Brittany, Christie, and Brandon

I tell them to walk around back as we take the front

I know what you're thinking. Shouldn't Addison be home since she's pregnant?

We had a huge argument about that which she one so she got to come

I walk to the front door and peer in the window

I see Alexis pushed up against the wall by Travis kissing

He is trying to take her shirt off when we barge in

They stop kissing and look at me frightened

Chris walks over and punches Travis in the nose knocking him over

He stands up and Chris knocks him out by squeezing a vain on his neck

I look over and see that Christie did the same to Alexis

I get Chris and Christie to guard over those two as we search the home for Addison's mom

I look over and see Addison is not beside me

I follow her scent to a closet and hear her talking to someone

I look up and see her mother tied up with bruises, cuts, and it looks like she has been electrocuted a few times

Damn she's in bad shame

I pick her up and we run to my car

I lay her in the back and tell Chris and Christie to call the cops

We drive to the hospital and they take her mom away

Addison breaks down and starts sobbing into my chest

I wrap my arms around her trying to coo her

Once she is calm enough to talk she looks me in the eyes and begins

"I smelled poison in that closet chase. If they put that in my mom it could've been mixed with silver or something. I can't lose her too!" she cries

She is about to fall when I catch her I carry her to the chair and try calm her

"Chase. I can't be an orphan" she says looking into my eyes "I just can't"

After I calm her down the doctor walks in with a sad expression on his face

"Alpha chase may I talk with you?" he says scratching the back of his neck

I lay Addison in the chair and walk with the doctor

"Alpha. Your Luna's mother is not going to make it. She has been electrocuted to many times. And there was poison in her blood stream. Alpha I'm sorry she won't make it" he says patting my shoulder "do you want me to tell luna?"

"No I'll get it" I say walking back to Addison

"How is she" she says barely able forms to here

"Addison. They did everything thing they coul-" I didn't get to finish before she cut me off

"No! she's not gone! she's the only thing I have left! chase they need to save her!!" She screams falling into my arms

"I'm sorry Addie" I say rubbing his back

I pick her up and carry her to her mothers room.

When we walk in I freeze

I see Travis standing in front if mrs. Mary, Addison's mom.

"I'm so sorry" he sobs

"You better get your ass out now bitch" I say laying a sleeping Addison in the chair

"Can you not see what I am doing? I'm in here trying to prove I'm not evil"

"You should've thought of that before you killed innocent people" I say clenching my fists

"Just leave" he commands

"I'm your alpha. You listen to me" I say punching him square in the nose

"It's on" he says standing and punching for my head

I duck and kick him in the stomach where he doubles over gasping for air

I shove him against the wall and begin punching the shit out of his face

Once he is knocked out I look over and see Addison starring at me wide eyed

"We're ok now" I say sitting beside her

"I wanna leave" she says with teary eyes

I lay her in the car and start the journey home
