Where does your inspiration come from? Hmm, many places. But mostly my inspiration comes from weird dreams I've had or from my loving family
! Is there any meaning behind your username? Have any of you watched a movie called 'Shorts'? Yes, no? Well, there's a character in the movie named Helvetica and she's evil! I'm evil! (Well, I like to think I am anyway) I also like the font Helvetica.
Personal cure for writer’s block: I don't really have one. In fact, I have writers block right NOW!!! I can't think of anything to write in my books at the present time. Usually if I get writers block I just write a chapter of a different book or I just force myself to write. But usually when I force myself it turns out like crap and I end up deleting it! So then I just go play some video games or watch a movie, sometimes they will cure my writers block!
Tips on writing: Well,
NUMBER 1: YOU HAVE TO HAVE AN IMAGINATION!!!
TIP 2: DON'T USE THE WORD I AT THE BEGINNING OF EVERY SENTENCE!
TIP 3: BE CREATIVE, NOT DULL AND BORING!!!
TIP 4: TAKE A BREAK EVERY NOW AND THEN! IT HELPS!
TIP 5: HAVE FUN! IF YOU'RE NOT HAVING FUN THEN YOU'RE READERS AREN'T HAVING FUN!
Story Pet Hates: Stories I read need to have good description. I hate it when a character isn't described fully or if someone just says, he has blonde hair and grey eyes. THAT"S NOT DESCRIBING!!! Also, the grammar/spelling mistakes seem to stand out to me! Yeah, sure you make mistakes in your writing, so go an EDIT IT! As for me anyway, I edit my books when they're finished so maybe that's why people aren't really reading them that much?
Clichés you avoid at all costs: shy girl and bad boy love stories! Arranged marriages preferably! Sometime's they are an exception though.
Favourite authors/members/stories: VAMPIRE ACADEMY ROX!!!(Richelle Mead) Anyway, I like the Twilight Saga books(Stephanie Meyer) (WAY BETTER THAN THE MOVIES), Harry Potter! J. K Rowling is my favourite. Winter Shadow series by M. J Hearle, The Violet Eden Chapters(can't wait till the next one comes out) Evernight series by Claudia Grey, Evermore by Allison Noel, I also love EXPLODE here on Wattpad! there are many more but if I listed them all this would go on forever. These are the main ones though.
Favourite Book (Excluding Wattpad): IMPOSSIBLE QUESTION!! I LOVE THE VAMP. ACADEMY SERIES! But I think I'll have to go with Harry Potter and the Prisoner Of Askaban!
Must Read Authors (Excluding Wattpad): J. K Rowling (YOU HAVE TO!) I mean, who hasn't read Harry Potter???! Richelle Mead(Vamp, Academy, Bloodlines and the newest(which I haven't read yet) Golden Lily), M. J Hearle(Winter Shadow, Winters Light) first book is sooo addictive that you can't even put it down for a second without grabbing it again! Hobbies: Writing(Duh) Reading(I'm a bookworm), singing(I'm probably not much good), drawing(I suck), video games(OH YEAH!) Movies(THE AVENGERS IS THE BEST!)
