I'm fourteen today. Two weeks have already gone by.

Also, I met this amazing boy yesterday, and he asked me out! And of course, I said yes.

I wonder how mum will react. I'll tell her tomorrow. He's perfect, and he accepts me for my disease.

His name is Haristeen. He is very unique, just like me. I love his name.

I'm really nervous about tomorrow, I have to tell mum someday.

I turned my lamp off and drifted off to sleep.

"Goeie môre" I said to mum.

A/N it's afrikaans (south african) for 'good morning'. You should get google to pronounce it for you if you never knew what it was

"Bueños Dias" She said to me (Spanish to those who don't know).

We have a mixed culture in our heritage.

On my dad's side, afrikaans,

And on my mum's side, Argentina, and I was born in Colorado, United States.

"Hey mum...." I said. I had to tell her sometime.

"Yes?"

Damn. No, I'll tell her tomorrow.

"Um... What was dad like?" First of all, I had to ask her something, but being honest, I actually do want to know.

"Don't ever ask again." Mum said strictly.
