"here we are! our new home!" Loren sqeals as she unlocks the doors to theyre new home.
gale rolls her eyes at her mothers words and steps inside, she takes a glimpse around not really taking anything in and heads up the stairs not bothering to look around, but one thing does catch her eyes... the big glass windows on each side of the decoder overlooking the deep dark-green forest, she gets caught up in the sight for a moment, remenbering all of her greatest memories back when her 'father' used to take her into the forest during theyre luttle camping trips together, she leans against the window, caught up in her little memories she doesn't see her sister walk right past her into one of the bedrooms across the way
"dibbs!" Maya hollers knocking the focus out of her, judging by the look on mayas face, it was the sweet room
"hey gale, wanna help me unpack?"
Maya yells from across the hall
"later, i wanna take a walk first"
she heads down the stairs and searched for the back door leading towards the forest,
only stopping when shes surrounded by the long green trees, the branches far apart hiding the sky from below.
she walks around for what seems like hours getting used to her new surroundings and saying goodbye to her old one, she was about to head back when she notices something across from her; a pile of old clothes laying on the ground.
then something catches she ears, a twig snaps behind her, she flips around and catches a glimpse of a shadowed figure before it disappears,
she runs back to the house and closes the door behind her,
'wouldn't wanna be known as the new girl found dead in the woods' she thinks to herself...
