I walk back into Veronica's room which was dead silent. They were sitting close to the wall trying to listen in on Chace and I's conversation I was guessing. "Are you serious?" I ask them. They turn and try and pass it off. "I know you heard." I say with my hands on my hips.

"Okay, so we might have heard a little bit." Candice admits. I sit down and shake my head.

"We can help you though. I mean he is my brother." Veronica says trying to make up for eavesdropping.

"I don't want him to use me." I mutter. Veronica comes and sits next to me.

"He won't. You'll win." She smiles at me. I put my head in my hands and groan.

"How?"

"I know everything about him." She smiles.

"And Mikey knows a lot about what makes him tick." Candice adds in. "You'll totally win with our help."

"Well how can I get an advantage tonight? He's bringing Chelsey, he can use her against me." I state.

Veronica nods her head and then looks up, "He might have Chelsey, but you have Jeff."

"Why is Jeff an advantage?" Candice asks the same thing I was thinking.

"Ever since the party, Jeff and Chace have been on edge around each other. Use Jeff as your advantage. Chace gets jealous easily, he just doesn't show it very much." Veronica explains.

"Good thing you can't bowl." Candice laughs. A grin forms on my lips.

"Thank God for giving me the skills to suck at bowling." I laugh. "Let's go!"

We walk down the stairs and wait for Chace to come down. "CHACE LET'S GO!" Veronica yells up the stairs. He comes down a few seconds later in the outfit I had chosen for him. He looked good, I knew I did a good job.

We all climb into Veronica's Kia Soul, I get into the back seat and so does Chace. We drive toward the bowling alley when all of a sudden he puts his hand on my leg and smirks at me.

"Is that necessary?" I whisper. The music playing was loud enough to muffle us talking.

"Yeah it is if it means I'm going to win." He winks at me. He moves his hand up more until he stops right next to my area. This was one of the moments I was so thankful to be a girl, because even if I was feeling something down there, he couldn't tell if I was getting wet or not.

"Two can play at this game." I say and put my hand on his leg in the same location. I lightly squeeze his leg and wink at him. "Firm, good job at keeping those leg muscles toned." He takes a deep breath and lets go of my leg so I do the same.

We arrive at the bowling alley and meet Jeff, Jordan, and Mikey at the counter. Jeff was wearing a blue button down and jeans. His hair looked really good too. I went up to him and kissed him.

"Someone's happy to see me." He smiles. I smile back and nod, biting my lip. "You look beautiful." He kisses my cheek and we get our shoes. I look behind me and see Chace crossing his arms looking at us. I winked at him and he faked a smile. Jeff put his arm around my waist and led me to the lane we were using.

"Hey man, where's Chelsey at?" Mikey asks after starting off the first round.

"She couldn't come. She got in trouble because she wasn't doing her scholarships." Chace tells him.

"Darn, we will miss her." I say sarcastically. He rolls his eyes at me.

"Babe, I'm going to go get some food, do you want anything?" Jeff asks me.

"I'll take a water, and whatever else you think. I don't really care." I tell him. He nods and asks everyone else. Everyone tells him what they want and he goes to order it.

"Porter, will you come to the bathroom with me?" Veronica asks me. I nod my head and watch as Candice takes her turn. I was up after Jordan. He was after Candice. We walk to the bathroom and go in.

"You're doing a great job. He's totally jealous. Now all you have to do is seal the deal for tonight." Veronica smiles at me.

"Seal the deal?" I ask suspiciously.

"Like do something to win tonight. It's obvious that you won already but I mean go in for the big one." She tells me.

"Okay." I laugh and walk back out. Jordan was on his second turn and Jeff was sitting and watching. "Jeff, would you help me when it's my turn. You know I'm not the best." I ask putting on a puppy dog face.

"Anything for you." He smiles at me. Jordan got a spare and then it was my turn. I stand up and grab my ball. Jeff gets up and stands behind me. He puts his arms around me and kisses my cheek gently. I smile and blush.

"All you have to do is hold the ball like this, and move your arm like that." He explains. We do the motion and I let go of the ball. We watch as it goes down the middle of the lane.

"I got a strike!" I say excitedly. I jump up and down and then hug Jeff. He spins me and around and then kisses me.

"I'm so proud of you. You're a great bowler!" He lets go and grabs his ball because it was his turn now. He took his turn and missed the split that he had.

"It's okay babe." I say and kiss his cheek. "You have plenty of time to get a strike."

Next was Chace's turn. He stood up and grabbed his ball. He gutter balled the first time and then knocked all the pins down the second time, so he got a spare. He sat back down and went to his brooding. Our food arrived after Veronica's turn and we all ate. We all shared cheese fries and water. Mikey and Candice kept feeding each other cheese fries, which was honestly really cute.

"Do you guys want to spend the night?" Veronica asks everyone in the group.

"All of us?" Mikey asks looking at Chace.

"Yeah all of you guys. Figure, why not hang out with our closest friends all night." Chace says.

"Sounds like fun." Jeff smiles and winks at me. I shift uncomfortably in my seat and fake a smile.

"I don't know if I can, I'd have to ask my parents." I say shyly.

"Yeah me too." Candice says.

"Well call then." Jordan laughs.

"Yeah, call." I hear Chace mutter. I shoot him a glare and walk outside to call my mom. Candice walks out with me.

I dial my moms number and ask if I can stay the night. It was already twelve thirty anyways, so I figured it wouldn't matter. She said that was fine and I hung up. Candice's mom said it was fine also and so we went back inside. We finished the game and Jeff ended up winning by a point. Chace came in second. I came in last.

After the bowling alley, Jeff offered me a ride over with him but I told him I was fine in Veronica's. I saw a smirk form on Chace's lips as we walked to her car. "You win the bowling alley, but I'll win tonight." He whispers in my ear. I wink at him and we get into the car.
