Emma

"Emma, you have no clue to how happy I am about you and Will being mates," Mr. Oakley beamed at me and I couldn't help but smile back. "This is so wonderful. Son, you will have to introduce Emma to the pack again, but this time as your mate." I mentally groaned. Meeting the pack tonight had drained me of, like, all my energy and I didn't think I would be able to make it to my room.

'Then I'll just have to carry you,' Will's voice said in my mind. He smirked and I rolled my eyes.

"You are already using your mate mind-link, aren't you?" Greg questioned, staring at us with a look of pride. Will nodded and then his eyes got a far away look in them.

"Alright, I suppose her reintroduction can wait until tomorrow," Mr. Oakley decided. I guess Will had told his dad I was tired.

"Ruby will take you to the room that you will be staying in," Just then, Ruby came over to me with a smile. Will looked at his father with darkening eyes and growled slightly. "Will, calm down. She needs her space and privacy. You'll see her in the morning,"

'Will, he's right,' I added and he looked over to me. 'I mean that you will see me later.' Will pulled me into a hug and kissed me on the cheek.

"I guess I will be seeing you in the morning then," Will mumbled next to my ear.

"Good night, Will," I said when he let go. He wished me a good night and smiled before shifting and running in the opposite direction of the pack house.

My bedroom was on the second floor and apparently right next door to my mate's. The walls were painted yellow and the comforter on the bed was a really pretty pattern. I closed the door and threw on a pair of pj's that I had packed. I crawled into the bed when I was ready and instantly fell asleep.

   Will

"Ugh," I groaned as I sat up in bed. I was in pain and I didn't know why. I had started to feel sick when Emma went to her room, but I didn't think much of it at the time. Now, it was like my body was calling for her, except I could barely stand. Suddenly, the door burst open and Jace came running in.

"Ever hear of knocking?" I demanded and sat myself on the edge of my bed. Dad hurried in and I realized that they both wore the same panicked expressions. "What's the problem Dad? Beta?"

"Alpha," Jace said, panting, "You'd better come quick. It's Emma." That brought me off the bed fast. I ran across the hall, in fear that something bad had happened to my mate.

When I entered the room, I found Ruby sitting on the edge of the bed, holding a damp cloth to Emma's forehead. Emma was coughing and I smelled vomit, so I knew she had thrown up. Sprinting over, I carefully slid onto the bed next to my mate. I wrapped my arms around her waist and held her close.

Our skin touched when I pulled Emma to me, and when it did all my pain dispersed. Emma, who had been stiff and cold before, grew warm and her muscles unclenched. She wrapped her arms around my torso and snuggled up to my body even closer.

"Are you alright?" I couldn't help but ask.

'Well, it's super cheesy,'  Emma mind linked me, 'but now I am fine.' My laugh shook the bed and I grinned.

Realizing that my father, Beta, and his mate were still here,I looked up at them.

"Dad, do you have any clue on what happened?" I questioned.

"I might have an idea," he did not sound so sure.

"Forgive me sir," Ruby stated, "but could you tell us what the heck your idea is. I came in here to wake Emma up, only to find her with what seemed like the flu or something." I was startled by her outburst, but Mom was the former Luna and I knew how protective werewolves could be towards their Luna.

"I fear that our Alpha and Luna may have gone into withdrawal from being separate,"

      Jace's eyes widened, "Withdrawal? That's a problem."

"Withdrawal? What are withdrawals?" I demanded, holding Emma tighter. Dad glanced at Jace and my Beta gestured to Ruby to follow him and they left the room, closing the door behind them.

"Okay," Dad sat down on the edge of the bed, "withdrawals are…"

Cliffey. Hehehe. I'll update soon. I am thinking of putting out the prologue to Barn Dog or Farm Wolf. Can y'all check it out and comment? Comment vote, please.
