Isn't it strange,
That when a "bubbly" person is hurt,
Everyone detects it?
"What's wrong?"
"Are you ok?"
The dreaded, inevitable questions.
"Nothing's wrong."
"I'm fine."
Did you really expect the truth?
Usually, if a "bubbly" girl is hurt,
She has a reason,
A good one.
People never understand why,
They don't realize she desires privacy,
If it shows, she's too stressed to bother with her facade.
Thats a sign of her weakness,
People try to take advantage of it.
Firing meanlingless questions to get the "gossip."
When she is like this,
She will speak very little,
To only a few select people.
Eventually, the mood will pass.
She may not recover fully,
But she will hide it.
Once it has faded enough,
She will put on a brave face,
And will once again be the "bubbly" girl.
You may be this girl,
You may know this girl,
You may think I'm not serious.
I know this is true.
I've been through this.
I am that "bubbly" girl.
