Two Parts of My Mind (and other poems)

The One

Going to point this out, but this turns out to remind me (quite a lot ) of Lancer from Dragon's Nest - that's why I've dedicated this to him.

The one who always has to smirk,

The one who has some funny quirks,

The one who rarely every smiles,

The one who's blue eyes do beguile.

The boy who likes to tease and flirt,

Whose mouth fills with words, then spurts

It all as jokes, a funny man,

'Til one day that goes down the pan.

For one thing boys don't want to know,

Is what girls think and how they'll go.

So what I did was wrong, wrong, wrong -

To tell my feelings in this song.

This poem which tells of a boy,

A boy who brings me so much joy,

So much laughter, tears and aches,

That I don't want my heart to break.

But I really have to see,

If he is more than family,

For if he is, this I'll say,

A happier girl won't pass this way!
