Cynthia was held up to a high standard from a very young age . her brother was getting rewards for academic and athletic achievements. To get perfect grades she ended up neglecting other facts in life, this however did work for a while. Her parents became very proud of her and started to brag to their friends for having not one but two genius children. Soon the academy for gifted kids became interested in her amongst other advanced students. She took this opportunity to prove to her parents that she is the most perfect child. However the pressure and stress was high, because she knew that there was limited spaces for that academy and to achieve that you need to give a test and an essay. She then became desperate, so she studied so hard that she hardly ate and would never sleep. As the time of the test neared she started to panic so she went online to find a copy of the essay and cheated, when she was caught her parents were horrified. She soon sank to a very deep depression and eventually commited suicide by hanging herself because she wanted to save herself the shame of being an imperfect daughter.
