I won't write sad poems

I won't put people through that

But I guess it's the way people vent

What they feel and stay intact

There's nothing better in this world than the people who are there for you

There's nothing sweeter than those words uttered when you're down and blue

I want to give people hope

I want them to believe

That life's just started

There's more left for them to see

I want to share my joy with all

I want to hold them if they fall

But I am just one girl here

When there are so many who need a friend

So what if we all take it up to embrace one around us

How many people there will be to whom love we'll send

Let's take them out of their shadows, their dark poems and misery

Let's bring them into the light and show them ecstacy

Yes, I have felt sad before

and cried too even

But I've got back up

I'm stronger than the pain they've given

So hand in hand we'll rise above the surge's swell

We won't let then world pull us down, we won't listen to that knell

'Cause we all are wonderful individuals

Unique on our own

Perfection isn't a possibility, we're the best just the way we are at home

So down in the dumps if you feel

Remember we are here for you

I'll remind you to Believe.
