I try and hide behind these words
I try and smile 'Cause I am heard
Never found a place much better
to get up and get in my thoughts without a flatter
Often have people walked along because of what they see
But if that what they believe ceases to be
Would they still be in my ecstacy?
I try to see it from their vision
But I'm at loss of words trying to envision
Why would people pretend and go on
Why would people waste their lives in trying to latch on
If all they wanted was recognition
They should've just asked and not made an exhibition
'Cause it's really sad if that's your aim
Even if you get somewhere in life it won't be the same
I've lived and loved with all my heart that's pure
And no I won't treat them the same, That's just not my cure
Why should I turn what I am?
Why should I try to fit to stay intact?
It blows my mind how they cannot see
the beauty that comes with being true within deep
Through thick and thin the pain won't matter
Whatever the time just call I'll be right up
That's the kind of person I would be
It's just sad that it's something that they've lost and won't get to see.
