I've replayed this sentence over again till minutes three
Stood still to think what it all meant for you and me
Are we really as close as people take us to be
Or is it just a one sided relationship which is incomplete
Whatever it may be,
The cause I'm suddenly so free
But there still is that hurt which burns through me
That my friend was nothing more than a dream
A fragment of my imagination lost in reality
Grasping for feelings to which I try to find a key
So I can unlock the door to the understanding
That everything is not what it seems
So I can unlock the door to the understanding
That every friend is not like what I dream for them to be.
