"Jakob, is Sarah safe?" I ask as I walk out of the house and calling out into the woods. Jakob shows up instantly with a passed out Sarah in his arms. There's blood on her lips which I assume is Jakob's as he probably had to feed it too her to keep her alive. I cannot believe that Jakob bit her. He was so getting smacked. I shake my head, slightly confused. Smacked? Normally I would have said something like I'd rip out his spleen or pulled out his vocal cords but i've never said smacked. It seemed so...so like the old me.

I shake it off and approach him, grabbing Sarah from his arms and glaring at him. He looks ashamed. "I can't believe you bit her! for two hours you'll take off your sunlight ring and walk past the window." I order. He opens his mouth to respond but I send him a sharp look and he sullenly walks inside and starts his punishment. I set Sarah down on the grass and then I break her neck. She's unconscious so there was no way there'd be a reaction. It'd be a little while before she woke up.

Two hours passed by and Jakob had finally stopped walking past the window because I heard no sound of pain and he walked out, looking still slightly in pain as his burns healed. His eyes look at Sarah and widen in shock.

"You turned her!" He shouted angrily.

"Technically you turned her, I just killed her." I point out and his nostrils flare in anger.

"She'll try to kill us!" He says indignantly and in a millisecond I have him by the neck, eyes narrowed on his.

"You don't get to make the decisions Jakob, I do! You have a problem with it you can leave." I say, eyes still locked on his as I take the compulsion off. He shakes his hea, feeling the compulsion shake off of him but doesn't move to leave.

"I won't ever leave you!" He says like a loyal dog. I throw my head back in a laugh and pat his cheek and set him down.

"Sweet Jakob, there will come a time when you will leave me, everyone does. And if you don't go on your own accord, I will make you. But today does not have to be that day. Dinner please? For Sarah?" I ask innocently. He scowls at the mention of Sarah but nods and walks off towards town to find some helpless humans waiting to be killed.

That's when Sarah decided to wake up. She shot straight up with a gasp, clutching at her throat. I grin and move over towards her, offering her my hand up. She glowers at me and stands on her own, staggering a little a she does.

"W-what's wrong with me?" She stutters, clutching her head.

"Oh your a vampire!" I say cheerfully and take her hand and pull her inside. She doesn't struggle, probably wanting to get away from the sun. "Well, not yet. You need some human blood to complete the transition. You did say you wanted this." I say too her. She glares at me.

"I wasn't sure!" She says, clearly upset. I pat her cheek soothingly.

"Well, it's too late now! Oh and look here comes Jakob with dinner." I say, perking up and grab onto  her wrist, pulling her too the door where Jakob was standing with three humans walking behind him robotically. I welcome them inside and order them all to take a seat.

"Take your pick Sarah." I say. She gulpes and turns her head away.

"I'm not completing the transition. I've decided I don't want to be a vampire, and certainly not spend that time being around you!" She hisses at me, making my gaze harden.

"Why you-" Jakob starts but I hold up a hand to him, making him stop.

"No, it's alright." I say coolly, eyes narrowed on her. "Let me make one thing clear, Sarah." I say to her and grab her by the elbow, forcing her to look in my eyes as I compel her.

"You are going to stay by my side as my friend just like Jakob even after the transition into being a vampire until I say you can leave. You won't try to hurt either of us. Now choose your victim!" I hiss at her and her body starts to move on it's own accord. She chose the first person next to her, who was a middle aged woman whose eyes were fearful. I shrug and pick the man who seemed to be in his early twenties standing next to them and without a second thought sunk my fangs into his neck. Then I immediately spit the blood back out, coughing.

"Gabrielle, are you alright?" Jakob asks, eyes wide in concern. I wipe my lips on the back of my hand and glare at him.

"It's a werewolf! How the hell did you find me a werewolf? That stuff is toxic to us! Idiot!" I say and he shrinks back in fear, thinking I might've hit him.

"I'm sorry I-I didn't know. I'll go get another!" He says quickly as runs out the door to get another human to drink from. I turn to the werewolf and stare into his eyes.

"You will leave and not remember a thing. Now go." I order and he turns to the door and walks out without another hesitation. I wipe at my mouth once and check up on Sarah, seeing as she devours the woman's blood. I shrug and turn to the last person and literally freeze. I knew her. I don't know from where, but I know her. And I know she's no human.

"Names Rebekah. It's nice to meet you." She says, sticking her hand out. I stare at it apprehensively.

"Gabrielle. And you are a vampire, so pray tell why did you follow Jakob here?" I ask her. Her eyes sparkle with amusement.

"Well he'd already had those two and I figured maybe there was a vampire party going on and wanted to join. I had no idea I'd be meeting someone who's quite as sadistic as you. I like it." She says. Then the names sparks something and I stare at her, wide-eyed.

"You're Klaus' sister." I breath and she raises an eyebrow.

"You know my brother? And you don't sound scared? Well that's interesting." She says, sounding vaguely curious.

"What do you want?" I ask and she laughs.

"I'm bored. Mind if I join your little party?" She asks and I realize even if she is Klaus' sister, I like her. I shrug.

"Sure, why not." I say and turn to Jakob who was standing in the doorway once more with another human.

"Jakob I'm going to need you to make another trip to town! We've got another guest." I call and he sighs.

"How many?" He asks.

"Hmm...five should suffice." Rebekah answers with a smirk. He shoves the human inside and then steps back out to gather more of them. She goes straight to the human and without another word starts to feed on his neck. I lean against the wall and smirk.

"Can I have more?" Sarah asks suddenly and I realize her person has fallen to the ground, dead. I nod.

"Sure dear, Jakob will be back soon." I say and her eyes lit up in excitement.

Now I had two new people who would be around, at least for a little while. Sarah and Rebekah. Kind of like a family now. I giggle at the thought.

Sorry it's taken so long to get this out, I have been working on a new story as well as stories on other websites and accounts and I've been crazy busy with all of it! So i've estimated this story to go to be about twelve chapters, maybe more or less since it is a novella. It should go throughout the summer and into september, meaning it'll end a little before the season 4 premiere of vampire diaries! SO excited!

So please vote, comment, and update and tell me what you think (Which means if you didn't like it tell me why so I can try to make it better!)
