The most faithful companion anyone could ever have is a good book.
This is one of the various thoughts, which a place in my mind took.
I sit by my window
and watch the tears fall down,
It lays open before me
That which I spent so much time on,
After all the celebrations, all the laughs and tears...
After all the reasons it gave to carry on, to conquer my fears...
It comes to an end.
Transfixed by these many words written by someone somewhere,
We get attached and live in them without a care.
But to step back and realise
that these words which made me cry,
These words over which I ponder in my life,
Are nothing more, nothing greater,
Than different combinations of 26 simple letters.
