My Empire

A devious thief walked into my empire,

Into the gates of heavens and optimal desire,

My guards are welcoming your arrival my Queen,

Beauty and perfection that my eyes have never seen,

“Salute her”, my guards, give her all the warmth she requires,

Hand her all my golden keys, allow her fulfil her desires,

Lead her into my  flavoured gardens, and scent my heavens,

“Lock the gates”, my guards, protect her with all your weapons,

Place my heart on a golden plate, and serve her with dinner,

Offer her a table and another chair, for the other sinner,

Lighten up the candles in my palace, ask them enjoy my service,

Play some beautiful harmonies, and read them some of my verses,

These are the colours of a devoted, unique and sincere love,

My people know me sincerely, and God from the above,

This is my empire, and my heart with its genuine shape,

It is about to collapse, “open the gates”, allow them to escape.
