I'm the soldier

I’m the man, who’d love you until the day he dies,

The one who’d hold your hand and take you up the seven skies,

I’m the man, who’d stand by you, even against himself,

The one who’d write a new book, and place others on the shelf.

I’m the man, who’d colour your life with lively rainbows,

The one who has the keys, to all your locked doors,

I’m the man, who’d hold your wedding ring, but for your special one,

The one, who’s everlasting job is you, and it will never be done.

I’m the man, who’d call on you, through the dark nights,

The special one, who promised to battle your fights,

I’m the man.....I’M THE SOLDIER who promised to keep his words,

The special one, you shattered his heart by your swords.

I’m your shelter, your soldier, until my very last breath,

The man, that will keep calling your name even after death,

The one, that will meet you in the afterlife, in heavens,

I’M THE SOLDIER........  you let down
