Harmonies

Echoes of regrets are still haunting me,

Surrounded by darkness,no light I see,

Gazing at the stars, when I had the moon,

Silenced apologies, heard on every tune,

Harmonies of a bleeding heart, witnessing you dance,

Ruthless stares, of an imaginary brutal romance,

You seized my heart, burnt it, and stood on its ashes,

Taught me not to dream, whipped its roots, as love lashes,

‘Imagine’, I said, that one day we will fly, high above,

‘Believe’, I said, a story of forever, an endless love,

Every imaginary path I created, was a mistake,

A fantasy invented, with every route I still take,
