I thought the grass was greener on the other side
I cried my heart out right before your eyes
All you did was laugh and smile
As I burned down
And fell from the skiesYou always left
not for good but it was for the best
The pain I felt and couldn't contain
You took in your hands and played like a game
I wish my confusion could be turned into a weapon
I would take it and stab your heart till you felt how it was to be stepped onThe more I ran
The harder I craved
The revenge I deserved to get
The right to cause you pain
I'm sure my conscience would agree
Because of my degree in knowing how it is to be deceived
