Roiku was in a gym-like room somewhere in the Organization.It
was a spacious room with white walls and a huge mirror on one
side of the each wall.Roiku stands a few feet in front of a punching
bag.He stares at it for a moment with a serious expression on
his face.After that,he charges towards it and activates his Greed on
his right hand.Upon nearing his target,he slashes the bag and it
easily gets torn into pieces.Roiku stares at the destruction one
more time before canceling Greed.He gives a sigh of disappointed.
He notice Mitar was in the room as well.He was leaning against the
wall quietly observing.
Roiku:Mitar.How long have you been there?(looks at mitar)
Mitar:Long enough.What are you doing anyway? You never come here.
Roiku:I was just...I wanted to see if I improved.
Mitar:If you ask me,you haven't changed at all.
Roiku:Exactly! I haven't gotten stronger at all! Not even a tiny bit!
I haven't even mastered Greed!
Mitar:Whats this all of a sudden? Whats gotten into you?
Roiku sits down on a chair and wipes his sweat off his forehead.
Roiku:I...I just heard that a bunch of new recruits got killed during a mission.
Mitar:Ohhhhh.So thats whats bugging you.
Roiku:I myself hasn't been in the Organization for THAT long.If I don't
focus and get stronger,I might die during the next mission.
Mitar:There's nothing wrong with training but you're pushing yourself.
I just talked to the janitor and he said that you were here since yesterday.
Roiku:I know I know.
Mitar:And get that idea of you getting killed.As long as I'm here,I will not let you die.
Roiku:R-Right...(murmurs)
Mitar:Anyway,go take a shower.We can then get something to eat.
Roiku:Sure.(nods)
Meanwhile,in another part of HQ.Jace and Grim were in a bedroom-like
room.Grim was sitting on a bed while Jace stands next to her.There
on the floor and playing a video game console was Ruri.
She was completely focus in playing.Candy wrappers and junk
food scatters the floor around her.She had clothes on now.She was
wearing a simple white duster dress.
Jace:We've done some tests on her.Her DNA is a hundred percent
similar to roiku's,no surprise there.
Grim:And?
Jace:She's as healthy as an ordinary human girl.But we know that
there's nothing ordinary about her.(looks at ruri)
Grim:Of course,of course.
Jace:However,we did find something....odd.
Grim:Odd? How odd?(looks at jace)
