Twenty-one-year-old Macy Harris doesn't have much left. Especially since the world has basically ended and the dead are coming back to life. After spending over 6 weeks with a group of cannibals, Macy finally manages to escape. She's completely on her own and on the verge of dying. Her luck turns around when she spots a group of survivors. Except she has no intention of joining their group and trusting them; Intsead, she plans on stealing from them.
But when she goes through with her plan of stealing from them, things don't go as she anticipated and she gets caught in the act. What lies ahead for Macy is something she never expected.
