You always liked to fully get into the swing of things when there was an occasion coming up. And Halloween was no exception.
You had already decorated your and Jeonghan's shared apartment as well as the boys dorm.
Luckily, your flat was a downstairs flat so you could also decorate the doorstep with a carved pumpkin that you and Hannie had somehow managed to create without completely destroying.
You were all going to spend the night at the dorm with the boys, nothing too crazy, just an opportunity to dress up, have a few drinks and enjoy some good company with your closest friends and your boyfriend.

The day of Halloween arrived and preparations for your night had already began.
You were currently placing your cape over your shoulders and admiring how nicely your make-shift witch costume had come together. Hannie was dressed up in a vampire costume as he came to stand behind you as you looked in the full length mirror.
He smiles at your through the reflection before bringing his mouth down to your neck. He mimics biting your neck and sucking your blood, however he doesn't actually make contact due to fear of getting fake blood on you.
You laugh and turn to face him.
"You're the best looking witch I've ever seen." He smiles, giving you a devilish look. Boy, he pulls off the vampire look so well! His dark eye makeup accentuates his beautiful brown irises, and the look he's giving you actually looks like he wants to eat you whole.

You blush lightly, the pink tinge making its way through your pale makeup.
It is then that you hear a knock on the door.
You and Jeonghan exchange confused glances momentarily before your eyes light up.
"Trick or Treaters!" You squeal, running to the kitchen to grab some sweets.
Jeonghan follows you, watching you with admiration.
You open the cupboard that had the sweets stashed in but notice that it's empty.
"The sweets...?" You begin and then realisation hits you.
Last week had been 'shark week' for you and so you'd craved sugar for 7 days straight. You get flashbacks of you snuggled on the sofa, covered in empty sweet wrappers whilst watching reruns on your favourite show.
"Oh no." You speak. Disappointment is evident in your features and you can't help but feel guilty to the kids standing outside your front door.

"Problem?" Hannie smirks.
"Yeah, uhm, I didn't buy any sweets." You try to bluff but Jeonghan knows better.
"Sure you did, I was there when you got them." He says, coming to stand behind you to look into the empty cupboard.
Damn, you forgot about that.
"Okay, so I lied." You give in, showing Jeonghan an apologetic look as you explain the situation. "It may have been 'that time of the month' last week and I might have eaten all the goodies."
Jeonghan simply bursts out laughing.

"It's not funny!" You protest. "Then I forgot to replace them and now there's going to be disappointed kids at my front door when I don't have anything to give them!"
Jeonghan is still laughing as he reaches up to the top of the cupboard. He pulls down a big bag of sweets and hands it to you.
You look up at him, shocked.
"How..?" You begin but he cuts you off.
"You better hurry up before they leave."
You realise he's right and quickly run the front door.

You greet the three children, one is dressed as werewolf, one is a skeleton and the last is a ghost. You pretend to get scared by their costumes and they laugh happily. You offer them some candy which they take gratefully. You wave them off and close the door.
Jeonghan is standing watching you and you gesture to the sweets.
"How?"
He laughs and follows you back into the kitchen.
"I know exactly what you're like, (y/n), so I put a little insurance on the top of the cupboard where I know you'd never see them."
"I don't know whether to love you or hate you right now." You scowl as you put the sweets in the cupboard.
"Love me because I just saved your ass from a tiny skeleton, wolf and ghost. God knows what would have happened to you if you didn't have a peace offering for those scary creatures." He's joking, although he's trying to act serious.
You roll your eyes at him.
He walks over to you and pulls you into his arms.
"You're so cute when you're grumpy." He speaks into your hair.
"Never hide food from me again." You pout. "But in this case, I forgive you since you had good reason."
He pulls back and plants a kiss on your lips.
"You're seriously so cute." He smiles. "Now come on, we've got a party to go to."
He begins to head out of the kitchen before turning back to you. "Bring the sweets." He winks.
