Once upon a time

ONCE UPON A TIME

Once upon a time,

I was yours as you were mine,

Though one day I came only to find,

You committing a heinous crime.

-

It was the most deceitful act,

You have no soul, ill conceived tact,

My own brother between our sheets in fact,

I've already seen, I can't look back.

-

I asked the witch doctor for a little spell,

To make you sleep, make you dwell,

To experience my personal hell,

To be rid of one I "knew" so well.

-

But turn me away she did with haste,

No involvement, this sin can not be erased,

I agree though it is much too late,

Revenge beckons my tongue for a taste.

-

Our story ends in a dark tragedy,

Where my heart once reside lies an empty cavity,

As your body chills I sit here in agony,

Our once upon a time doesn't end happily.
