Jessica said, “Huh? Why are you asking that all of a sudden?”
“I felt curious because you’re so beautiful.”
She laughed and truthfully replied, “But, you promise me not to tell the public about this, okay?”
“Okay. I promise.”
“Well, yes.”
“That was awesome! Who’s that lucky guy who won your heart? Is he a celebrity or not? Do I know him?”
“I don’t know if you know him but he’s a celebrity.”
“Hmm… He’s from what country?”
There was a moment of silence. She answered, “He’s from Taiwan.”
“I know few celebrities from Taiwan. What is his profession in the entertainment industry?”
“Really? He’s a singer, actor, and host.”
“What’s his name?”
“His name is Calvin Chen.”
WHAT?! I knew that person. But why did they not inform the public? Did Calvin’s mother know that her son had a girlfriend? Then why did she give me this necklace? I have to find out when I come back in Taipei. And why did I feel jealous all of a sudden? NO! I should be happy for the both of them.
“How about you, do you have a boyfriend?” Jessica asked.
“I don’t have,” I answered with all honesty.
“Really? Hmm… But have you had a boyfriend before?”
“No.”
