I end up having to go to the party with the quarterback, because they didn’t actually think I’d agree to go to the party with them. So they gave away my seats to normal party goers who couldn’t drive or who didn’t have a ride.
The drive to the party is totally awkward which makes it seem like we’ve been driving for hours when it’s probably only been 10 minutes. Finally he turned on the radio so there wasn’t anymore uncomfortable silence. He doesn’t try to talk to me and neither I, him. But then my favourite song comes on radio and I start humming along. Soon I forget that the quarterback is in the car with me instead of Toby and the others so I start singing.
