Empty
Her smile only comes from the outside,
Her laughter only comes after tears.
She tries to forget the memories.
She tries to erase all the years.
She can't seem to forget his smile.
His words are stuck in her head.
She pretends that she doesn't care,
But to him, she is dead.
He knows that she still loves him
While he's with another girl.
He never truly loved her,
But to her, he meant the world.
He wishes her farewell,
While she wishes him the best.
For now, her life is empty.
But, one day, she'll find the rest.
