Antoinette was having a week. She had broken her wrist falling out of a tree, and her mom was in London for the week. Soon after she was let out of the hospital, Adrian invited her to stay at his house. That was better than staying all alone, so she agreed. The next day, she got word that her mother had died in a terrible car accident, and she was alone in the world. Then her house burned down. All she had were the clothes on her back and the flash drive in her pocket. On the drive were some of her best designs. As she sat making a cape of silk, Chloé came to bully her once again. Chloé ripped up her silk and threw it in a puddle.
"Really, Chloé? My mom just died, I lost my home and I broke my wrist, and you still feel the need to bully me? Really?! I can't believe you!" Antoinette yelled. Chloé just laughed evilly. After she left a purple outline appeared on Antoinette's face.
"Threadbare, I am Hawkmoth. I have given you the power to take revenge on bullies. But I'll need something in return, when the time is right." said a voice in her head.
"Yes, Hawkmoth." she said, letting a purple substance cover her body.
