Chapter One ♡

*Miranda P.O.V*

As I packed my things on my bag, I’m really sad and haven’t talked to my parents and my manager since they told me that I need to go to a camp so that I can be relax and not to worry so much about my grandma. I mean how they can do that to me, sent me on a camp while my grandmother is on the hospital.  Someone knock on the door

“Miranda. Can I come in?” my mom asked

“Sure.”  I said lazily

“Look, I know that you are mad at us because we agreed that you will go to the camp” Mom said while she help me pack my things

“I’m not mad….” I paused and said “I’m just sad…. Why can’t I stay here? Why do I need to go to the camp? I can always-----” I was interrupted by my mom and said  “Look, sweetie… you need to go there. You’re been on a lot of stress about your grandma  ...” She said smiling “you will also meet new friends and it will be great.  Don’t worry.” She added

I said goodbyes to my parents, manager and especially to my dog Penelope

“I’m going to miss you so much” I said while hugging Penelope

“Ms. Collins, we need to go now” the driver said

I nodded and give them one more time a hug and said goodbyes.

The trip is not that long that I expected. It’s just been 3 to 4 hours drive; I expected it to be 5-7 hours. The driver gives me my bags and I headed to the cabin where the leader of the camp stays.  I knocked on the door and I heard someone say come in. I entered the cabin and I saw a man who’s wearing a v neck t-shirt and a denim pants and I think is 28 years old and for his look I think his nice.  I sat on his chair besides on his office table.

“Hi. My name is Miranda Collins” I said and smiling a him.

“Miranda Collins? I think I heard your name before but I don’t know where. ” he said while still thinking who I was

“Well. You may know me on a - -” I was cut off by him

“Don’t tell me, I want to know it by myself. Okay?” he said and I nodded.

I removed my sunglasses and he looked at me and smiled.

“You are Nikki Lee on the hit tv show Boyfriend Material, My daughter loves to watch your show and she’s kind a been addicted to your show. She even wants me to go to your studios just to meet you.  ” He said while smiling “She’s really a big fan of yours” he added.

“Well, Thanks. I’m honored” I said shyly. He asked me if I can give his daughter an autograph and I nodded I even give her a small message. As soon as I finished writing messages for his daughter, I gave him the paper and I recognize that he’s playing a flappy bird.

“Btw, my name is Drake and how can I help you?” Drake asked while playing flappy bird on his phone

“Well, my manager joined me on this camp and - -” I was cut off by him again

“WHAT? I been playing this game for twenty times and my highest is still 7” he yelled and I chuckled. “How can I beat my own high score? Ugh… ” He whispers to himself I think he forgot that I’m here so I said hi and he looked at me and smiled.

“Sorry, I got away from this game” he said while laughing at himself for his behavior.

“Flappy Bird?” I asked even though I know what is he’s been playing

“Yeah.  So, what are we talking again? ” He asked casually

“As I’m saying, I’m one of your new campers here and to be honest I’m kind a new to this so I really don’t know what are we going to do here.” I said.
