(Tristan’s POV)

Today in school Marissa was complaining about something that happened to her in the morning. I immediately blocked her out when I smelled Livy’s scent hit me. Looking up I couldn’t help but admire her well defined curves. Looking back at Marissa so she would think I was paying attention to her blabbing, I heard Livy’s sarcastic remark to Diddy causing my wolf to purr knowing his mate was witty, placing a grin on my face. As I took a quick glance at Livy's retreating form she turned at that moment catching me in the act.

Marissa placed her hand on my chin pulling my attention back to her. “Tristan why are you smiling, I looked her in the eyes and grabbed any lie I could come up with on the spot “sorry about that, I was just remembering something one of the guys told me yesterday.”

“Dag, Tristan so you weren’t paying attention to anything I’ve been saying” she stated placing her hand on her hip.

“Sorry about that” I said giving her my winning smile.

“Marissa I need to head out. I’ll call you later when I’m headed to your place.”

Wrapping her arms around my neck; pulling me in for a quick peck “ok, see you later”.

Walking down the same hallway Livy went through I could still faintly smell her Lavender scent in the hallway, causing my wolf to crave his mate.

(Dam this mate pull is going to be the death of me)

As the time has progressed it’s been rough denying the pull to Livy. The times I’ve seen her with Mason sets my wolf on fire. I can’t stand it. I could only imagine she must feel the same when I’m with Marissa. The though alone pisses my wolf off knowing we're upsetting our mate. I would be lying if I said I don’t think of Livy often, I can’t help it my wolf won’t let up he’s persistent.

At first it was easy to settle my wolf’s craving for his mate because she was always around Star, leaving her scent everywhere. I would find myself inhaling her scent to ease my wolf. But as soon as she got with Mason her hang out sessions with Star withered a bit. Of course Star didn’t mind because Star being Star always finds something to do. But my wolf on the other hand was pissed; he doesn’t understand why I would allow our mate to see someone, touch someone, and kiss someone that wasn’t us.

Star’s yelling pushed me from my internal dialog “oh, sorry lil sis” instantly realizing I was in the school parking lot. I must have mentally zoned out dam that’s happening a lot lately.

“For a moment there I thought I would have to hitch a ride with one of the guys. You were so lost in thought, what were you thinking about?”

“Nothing just random stuff” I said searching my pocked for my keys to remotely unlock the car doors. After we both got in she immediately turned the music on blasting her favorite station. Rolling my eyes I sped off from the school grounds.

After about 20 minutes we reached the pack house. I parked the car in the garage and walked into the kitchen fishing for food, while Star grabbed the phone placing a pizza order. As soon as I heard her ask for extra pepperoni I knew Livy was coming by. Unconsciously my body relaxed on its own accord knowing Livy will be here soon. Grabbing a bag of chips, I figured I could take these to hold myself off until the pizza arrives.

Star gave me a curious look, and walked off.

About 30 minutes later the pizza arrived, paying the delivery man. I placed the box on the counter, and grabbed a slice. After finishing off my slice I headed upstairs to shower and change.
